    Abstract: A hydrogen cooled pressure packer, systems, and methods of operation are provided. The pressure packer can include a flange portion and a plurality of packing cups coupled to the flange portion. One or more packing cups of the plurality of packing cups include at least one injection channel extending therethrough and terminating in at least one injection port. The pressure packer can also include a seal abutted with at least one packing cup of the plurality of packing cups. The pressure packer can be configured for use in a hydrogen compressor operable within a hydrogen vehicle refueling facility.

    Abstract: A device including a reservoir configured to receive a lubricant from a machine lubricated with the lubricant. The device also includes a pressure equalizer connected to the reservoir. The device also includes a first loop comprising a first line system through which the lubricant flows between the machine and the reservoir. The lubricant within the first loop is at a first pressure. The device also includes a temperature regulation system configured to regulate a temperature of the lubricant. The device also includes a second loop comprising a second line system through which the lubricant flows between the temperature regulation system and the reservoir. The lubricant within the second loop is at a second pressure that is less than the first pressure. The second loop is separate from the first loop.

    Abstract: An electric drive compressor system (1) comprising: a reciprocating compressor (2) having temperature and pressure sensors (83, 84) for sensing a pressure and temperature of gas prior to compression by the compressor (1) and for sensing a pressure and temperature of gas after compression by the compressor (1); a motor (3) connected to the compressor (1) for driving the compressor (1); a cooling system (4) for cooling the motor (3); and a controller (5) for controlling the motor (3) in real time based on the temperature and pressure sensor readings of the gas prior to and after compression by the compressor (1). Features and advantages of the systems (1) as exemplified are as follows: lightweight and compact design; refrigerant circuit sealed from electric motor for ease of maintenance and service; air cooled from unique fin and airflow passage design, with fan width pulse width modulation; intelligent control system with pressure and temperature sensors/transducers and software; separate compressor working assembly to ensure piston alignment and compression is not affected by heat distortion; separate outer housing and compressor crankcase to ensure leak free operation.
