    摘要: The invention relates to a metering pump having a hydraulic drive (12) for supplying a hydraulic fluid under pressure. The metering pump furthermore comprises a housing (2) and an oscillating piston (3), which is accommodated in the housing (2) in such a way that at least a first and a second hydraulic chamber (9-1, 9-2) and a first (6-1) and a second delivery chamber (6-2) are formed, wherein the oscillating piston (3) has at least a first driving surface (10-1) in the first hydraulic chamber (9-1) and at least a second driving surface (10-2) in the second hydraulic chamber (9-2), and the hydraulic chambers (9-1, 9-2) communicate with the hydraulic drive, thus enabling the oscillating piston (3) to be moved backward and forward between a first and a second position by the hydraulic fluid, wherein, during the movement from the first to the second position, the volume of the first delivery chamber (6-1) is enlarged and the volume of the second delivery chamber (6-2) is reduced and, during the movement from the second to the first position, the volume of the second delivery chamber (6-2) is enlarged and the volume of the first delivery chamber (6-1) is reduced. The invention furthermore relates to a metering system for mixing two fluids and a metering system for metering at least one fluid.

    摘要: A pump for discharging a predetermined quantity of fluid. The pump housing contains a reciprocating pumping member, which is preferably driven in a forward stroke by mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic means under the control of a solenoid which, when energized, causes the pumping member to take the forward stroke, the length of which corresponds to the predetermined quantity of fluid to be delivered by the pump. The solenoid remains energized until the forward stroke is completed, at which time it is deenergized. The stroke length of the pumping member, and hence the amount of fluid delivered by the pump, is adjustable. The driving force for the return stroke of the pumping member is preferably accomplished by means of a spring which is loaded during the forward stroke, the force of the loaded spring being overcome by the solenoid as long as the solenoid is energized, or by hydraulic or pneumatic means controlled by a conventional distribution member under the influence of the solenoid.

    摘要: A hot water system comprising a hot water heater and conduit means coupled to feedwater under pressure for conducting water to and from the hot water heater. The system also includes an injector pump and a reverse osmosis module which has an inlet port, a product water port and a brine outlet port. The injector pump has an inlet coupled to the feedwater under pressure, a brine port coupled to the brine outlet port of the reverse osmosis module and a discharge port coupled to the conduit means. The injector pump includes a first valve operated by the injector pump for opening and closing the inlet of the injector pump. A second valve is provided between the reverse osmosis module and the brine port. The injector pump provides water to the inlet port of the reverse osmosis module and increases the pressure of the brine at the discharge port of the injector pump to greater than the pressure of the feedwater so that the brine can be injected into the hot water system.

    摘要: A pump connectible to fluid under pressure comprising a housing having a cavity and a differential area piston reciprocable in the cavity on pumping and reset strokes and dividing the cavity into an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber and a reversing chamber. The housing has an inlet port communicating with the inlet chamber and connectible to the fluid under pressure, a water port communicating with the outlet chamber and a reversing port communicating with the reversing chamber. The piston has a passage leading from the inlet chamber to the outlet chamber. A first valve opens and closes the passage and a second valve is provided in the housing. A cam assembly opens and closes the first and second valves as a function of the position of the piston in the cavity.

    摘要: An intensifier for delivering ultra high pressure water to a cutting head of a water jet cutting apparatus. The intensifier has a power piston and cylinder assembly connected to piston members extended into pumping chambers in housing located at opposite ends of the piston and cylinder assembly. Inlet poppet valves located in the pumping chambers control the flow of water from inlet passages into the pumping chambers. Outlet poppet valves allow ultra high pressure water to be pumped out of the pumping chamber into an accumulator fluidly connected to the cutting head. Hydraulic fluid under pressure is sequentially directed to opposite ends of the piston and cylinder assembly with a solenoid operated reversing valve. Limit switches operable in response to movement of the piston members control the reversing valve. Linear motion transfer mechanisms are moved with ramps on the piston members to actuate the limit switches to control the reciprocating action of the piston and cylinder assembly.
