摘要: Methods are provided to prepare a low sulfur fuel from hydrocarbon sources, such as light tight oil and high sulfur fuel oil, often less desired by conventional refiners, who split crude into a wide range of differing products and may prefer presence of wide ranges (C3 or C5 to C20 or higher) of hydrocarbons. These fuels can be produced by separating feeds into untreated and treated streams, and then recombining them. Such fuels can also be formulated by combinations of light, middle and heavy range constituents in a selected manner as claimed. Not only low in sulfur, the fuels of this invention are also low in nitrogen and essentially metals free. Fuel use applications include on-board large marine transport vessels but also on-shore for large land based combustion gas turbines, boilers, fired heaters and transport vehicles and trains.

摘要: A recirculation pump includes an impeller, a pump motor assembly, and a heater. The pump motor assembly includes a pump housing having a pump cavity and a pump motor arranged in the pump cavity that drives the impeller, the pump housing arranged axially away from the impeller. The heater is disposed on or in the pump housing and spaced apart from the impeller. The heater is configured to increase a temperature of any portion of the fluid that leaks from the impeller into the pump cavity and resides in the pump cavity. The increase in the temperature causes the fluid that resides in the pump cavity to flow toward the impeller and exit the pump cavity.

摘要: A fan motor includes: a motor body; a rotary shaft assembly having a rotor and a bearing mounted on a rotary shaft; a stator that surrounds the rotor; an impeller connected to the rotary shaft; and a bracket including a bearing housing portion for receiving the bearing. The bearing housing portion defines a bearing heat dissipating flow path that allows air to be discharged to an outside of the bearing housing portion after passing between the outer surface of the bearing and the bearing housing portion. Air blown from the impeller can absorb heat of the bearing by contacting an outer surface of the bearing while passing through the bearing heat dissipating flow path.

摘要: A blood flow assist system can include an impeller assembly including an impeller shaft and an impeller on the impeller shaft, a primary flow pathway disposed along an exterior surface of the impeller. The system can include a rotor assembly at a proximal portion of the impeller shaft. A secondary flow pathway can be disposed along a lumen of the impeller shaft. During operation of the blood flow assist system, blood can be pumped proximally along the primary flow pathway and the secondary flow pathway. The system can include a sleeve bearing distal the impeller. The system can include a drive unit having a distal end disposed distal a proximal end of the second impeller. The drive unit comprising a drive magnet and a drive bearing between the drive magnet and the impeller assembly.

摘要: A centrifugal pump sealing structure is provided. In one aspect, one sealing member is provided at a position where leakage paths from a fluid compression space between a middle housing and a cover and an electric component installation space between the middle housing and a lower housing are connected. Then, the two spaces are sealed. The number of sealing members is reduced, so that the internal structure becomes simpler and the assembly of the sealing member becomes easier.
