摘要: A blower assembly for an appliance defines a radial direction, a circumferential direction, and an axial direction. The blower assembly includes a motor, a housing, and an impeller. The housing has a front wall and a rear wall defining a volute with the impeller positioned therein. The impeller is mechanically coupled to the motor for rotating to direct a primary airflow into a primary airflow inlet of the housing and throughout the appliance. Further, the impeller includes a hub wall and a shroud wall. The should wall is spaced apart from the front wall of the housing along the axial direction to define a gap through which a secondary airflow can pass. An inner edge of the shroud wall has a shroud feature that causes the secondary airflow to align with the primary airflow entering the primary airflow inlet so as to minimize turbulence.

The fan cover is mounted on the housing assembly and fits with the housing assembly to form an accommodating cavity. The wind wheel is provided in the accommodating cavity and fits with a side wall of the accommodating cavity to form an air inlet channel. The first diffuser is provided in the accommodating cavity, and has first fan blades and a mounting hub. The mounting hub, the first fan blades and the side wall of the accommodating cavity together provide a first diffusion channel. The air inlet channel is in communication with the first diffusion channel in series.

The mounting finger is received within the channel and can translate within the channel as the mounting bracket moves relative to the ceiling fan box.

摘要: A positive displacement gear pump or gear hydraulic motor having at least a first rotor with first rotor teeth and a second rotor with second rotor teeth, the first rotor teeth meshing with the second rotor teeth. First rotor chambers are defined between first rotor teeth and second rotor chambers are defined between the second rotor teeth. As the rotors mesh, the first rotor chambers, second rotor chambers or both become enclosed or substantially enclosed to form what are referred to here as secondary chambers. Pressure variations in a secondary chamber are relieved by internal flow channels in the first rotor, second rotor or both, creating a fluid connection between the first rotor chambers and the second rotor chambers. The first rotor may be an internal gear rotor or both rotors may be external gear rotors.

摘要: A fluid pump assembly is provided. The pump has a pair of units magnetically coupled to each other. The first unit contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second unit contains a magnetic assembly and a blade of a propeller/impeller for imparting movement to a fluid. As the first unit is activated by the drive motor, a magnetic flux is created which in turn rotates the magnetic assembly in the second unit, driving the blade.

摘要: A split volute for a centrifugal pump is disclosed that provides a manufacturing advantage by improving the yield of high-chrome iron casting, providing for full surface coating capability using line-of-sight spray coating systems. Performance improvements include improved pump efficiency, abrasion resistance, and volute lifetime. Additional operational cost savings are enabled through reduced time required for common volute maintenance procedures and an increased replacement interval for the volute. Taken together, these advantages reduce the total cost of ownership of the split volute pump system.
