    Abstract: A monitoring device (1) for monitoring a rolling bearing (2) being mounted into an application system (4), for example a motor or generator system. The monitoring device (1) includes a sensor unit (12) for monitoring the rolling bearing (2), and a processing unit (14). The sensor unit (12) monitors the rolling bearing (2) for obtaining an actual value of at least one parameter of the rolling bearing (2). The processing unit (14) compares the actual value of the at least one parameter and a desired value of the at least one parameter. The processing unit (14) controls the application system (4) to reduce a deviation between the actual value and the desired value of the at least one parameter.

    Abstract: A detection device for vehicles includes a base section fixed to a body of a vehicle, and a bearing having an outer ring member, an inner ring member, and rolling elements, which rotatably supports a wheel of the vehicle against the base section. A first bearing member of the outer ring member and the inner ring member is fixed to the wheel, and a second bearing member of the outer ring member and the inner ring member is fixed to the base section. The detection device includes a disk-shaped rotating section for detection that extends radially outward of the bearing with respect to the first bearing member, and a displacement detection section that outputs a signal in response to an axial displacement of the rotating section for detection.

    Abstract: A sensor bearing unit includes a bearing, which has a first ring and a second ring, both rings being centered on an axis, and an impulse ring. The impulse ring includes a target holder, a target mounted on the target holder, and a sleeve secured to the first ring of the bearing. The sleeve is provided with an axial portion having at least one radial protrusion and a collar extending at least partially radially. The target holder is mounted radially around the axial portion of the sleeve and axially between the first ring of the bearing and the collar of the sleeve. The at least one radial protrusion of the sleeve axial portion extends into a complementary recess provided on the target holder.

    Abstract: A shunt assembly for an open bearing including an annular shunt device having a plurality of through slots for passing lubricant and the annular shunt device being configured to engage a first bearing ring, a clamping ring seated against a second bearing ring within an inner diameter of the annular shunt device. The shunt assembly also includes a carbon fiber layer seated against a radially inner surface and an axially outer surface at least two surfaces of the clamping ring, the carbon fiber layer contacting the annular shunt device and a bracket partially enclosing the carbon fiber layer against the clamping ring, the bracket being configured to engage the second bearing ring, wherein the annular shunt device, the bracket, and the carbon fiber layer are configured to provide an electrically conductive pathway between the bearing rings.
