摘要: A bushing assembly displacing system for displacing a bushing assembly relative to a housing opening in a structural member, the bushing assembly displacing system comprising a drive system comprising an actuator, a threaded rod, and a brace nut, a pullbar socket, and a push adapter. The pullbar socket is configured to be connected to the threaded rod and to the bushing rod. The push adapter is configured to be connected to the bushing rod and to engage the bushing sleeve of the assembly. The receiver assembly comprises a cylinder adapter and an extension tube. In a first mode, the cylinder adapter is arranged between the actuator and the structural member. In a second mode, the cylinder adapter is arranged between the actuator and the extension tube and the extension tube is arranged between the cylinder adapter and the structural member.

摘要: A radial air bearing device includes a bearing plate, a spring steel sheet, and a bearing receptacle. The bearing plate includes one or more bearing plate parts with an inner main side and two wide sides. First and second retaining lugs are provided on each wide side and are bent to the outside. The spring steel sheet includes one or more spring steel sheet parts. The bearing receptacle includes a recess with an inner wall and a first groove and a second groove which extend outwards from the recess. The first groove is arranged axially offset with respect to the second groove. The bearing plate parts and the spring steel sheet parts are arranged along the inner wall so that the spring steel sheet runs between the bearing plate and the inner wall and so that the first and second retaining lugs engage in the first or second groove.

摘要: A method for repairing an electric generator having a rotor that rotates about a vertical axis, the rotor including a spider having a number of spider arms extending radially away from the axis, and a rim surrounding the spider. The weight of the rim is normally carried at least in part by rim support ledges of the spider arms. The method for repair includes supporting the rim from the top of the spider and thereby relieving some or all of the weight of the rim being supported by the rim support ledges.

摘要: The present invention is directed at a specialized bushing for use in coupling the shift cable end with the shift lever in various motor vehicles wherein the shift cable end is comprised of a coupling member having a coupling aperture, and the shift lever is comprised of an elongated member having a tapered portion, a cylindrical portion and a head. The bushing preferably includes a seating member configured to sit within the shift cable end having a bore configured to receive a portion of the elongated member of the shift lever, a leading and trailing shoulder to radially and longitudinally secure the seating member within the shift cable end, and a securing member to receive and house the tapered and cylindrical portions of the shift lever and permit the head of the shift lever to be pushed through and beyond the securing member to secure the shift lever within the bushing.

One of the opposing axial ends of the inner member is located entirely in the interior area and axially inward from ends of the outer member when the inner member is angularly misaligned relative to the outer member at non-zero angles up to 7 degrees.

摘要: There are disclosed apparatuses and methods for withdrawal of a bearing from a gate mechanism including a mechanism housing, a carrier assembly, and discrete fasteners. The mechanism housing includes a receiving bore as well as housing fasteners and housing surfaces located about a periphery of the receiving bore and offset from one another. The carrier assembly includes a carrier housing having a carrier support mating with the receiving bore and a carrier bearing supported for rotation within the carrier housing. The carrier housing has flange fasteners aligning with the housing fasteners and the housing surfaces when the carrier housing mates with the receiving bore. The carrier assembly withdraws from the mechanism housing in response to removing the discrete fasteners from a first group of the flange fasteners aligned with the housing fasteners and inserting the discrete fasteners to a second group of the flange fasteners aligned with the housing surfaces.

摘要: Bearing assemblies and methods of using bearings are provided in the present disclosure. In one embodiment, a bearing ring is provided having a plurality of carrier components removably coupled therewith. Each carrier component may carry one or more bearing elements. Upon wearing of the bearing elements beyond a desired amount, the carrier components may be removed from the bearing ring and installed in a different bearing ring to place the mearing elements at their original bearing surface radius. In another embodiment, individual bearing elements may be radially adjustable relative to the bearing ring to define and redefine the radius of a radial bearing surface.
