摘要: The present disclosure relates to mechanical braking mechanisms used in electric motor applications. The present braking mechanisms may be configured as non-back-drivable mechanical brakes and provide immediate braking of the motors. According to one embodiment, a mechanical brake assembly for an electric motor may include a female disk including a groove and an abutment and a male disk including a projection, the male disk being in mechanical communication with a rotor of the electric motor. When the electric motor is energized, the projection of the male disk is configured to rotate with the rotation of the rotor of the electric motor, but when the electric motor is de-energized, the projection of the male disk is configured to travel within the groove of the female disk and abut the abutment of the female disk, thereby reducing the rotation of the rotor of the electric motor.

摘要: A hydraulic transaxle facilitates mounting a parking brake unit which requires no link mechanism and is compact. The parking brake unit includes a brake rotor provided on a rotation shaft and a locking member being displaceable between a first position where the brake rotor is locked and a second position where the brake rotor is unlocked. The locking member includes a locking portion which is engaged in a recess formed in the brake rotor that locks the brake rotor in the first position, and a non-locking portion which is placed at a position corresponding to the recess and which separates from the brake rotor in the second position. The hydraulic transaxle further includes an oil-supply mechanism capable of displacing the locking member to the second position.

摘要: A locking device of an electromechanically-operated brake caliper for a disc brake, comprising a ratchet comprising a rotating element having at least one first cam and one first follower pushed elastically against said rotating element, configured to act in conjunction with said at least one first cam to allow the rotation of the rotating element in a first direction of rotation, and to prevent the rotation of the rotating element in a second direction of rotation, opposite to said first direction of rotation; a selector element sliding between a first selector element position and a second selector element position, said selector element being adapted to operate said first follower so that, in said first selector element position, said selector element keeps said first follower in a disengaged position away from the rotating element in which the application of a parking braking action is prevented, and so that, in said second selector element position, the selector element keeps said first follower in an engaged position in contact with said rotating element in which a parking braking action can be applied; said selector element having a second cam and said first follower having a first follower opening forming a second follower, said second cam being configured to act in conjunction with said second follower to operate said first follower between said engaged position and said disengaged position.

摘要: A braking structure for fan includes a fan and a braking device connected to the fan. The braking device includes a first braking mechanism, a second braking mechanism and a support seat. The first braking mechanism is connected to a free end of a shaft of the fan, the second braking mechanism is fitted in the support seat, and the support seat is engaged with a bottom of a frame of the fan. When the fan is turned off, the braking device is no longer energized, bring the first and the second braking mechanism to engage with each other and accordingly produce a braking effect, so that the fan can more quickly stop rotating.

摘要: A parking brake reduced in size and simplified is installed on a rod-protruding side of a cylinder of a caliper braking device. A second piston is provided within the second cylinder that is coaxially coupled with the cylinder and movable coaxially relative to the rod. A one-way clutch is provided to switch ON/OFF due to a releasing/pressing by the second piston with respect to a switch disposed facing a cylinder side surface of the second piston. A parking operation auxiliary spring is provided on the side of the cylinder within a second cylinder, and a manual release piston is provided in a space of the second cylinder. A parking release lever pushes a manual release rod at the tip end of the manual release piston, pushing the second piston in the direction of retraction of the rod, at the same time as the manual release rod pushes into the rod.

Some apparatuses include a stator defining an interior volume and one or more arcuate contact surfaces within the interior volume, and a rotor rotatably coupled to the stator and at least partially disposed within the interior volume, the rotor having a hub, two or more shoes, each pivotally coupled to the hub and extending between a first end and a second end that is farther from the hub than is the first end, wherein each of the shoes is rotatable relative to the hub between: (a) a first position in which the second end of the shoe contacts at least one of the arcuate contact surface(s) of the stator; and (b) a second position in which the second end of the shoe does not contact the arcuate contact surface(s) of the stator.
