摘要: A drivetrain component provides an electronically controlled, overrunning drivetrain disconnect. The drivetrain component includes a case having an annular wall portion with a plurality of pockets in one side. The carrier is supported for movement relative to and independently of the case. The carrier includes a notch plate. The differential gear set has a pinion shaft tied to the carrier, pinion gears mounted on the pinion shaft, differential gears engaging the pinion gears, and differential gear shafts connected to the differential gears. The drivetrain component includes a first locking structure and a second locking structure. Both the first and second locking structures are on the same side of the notch plate. The first locking structure couples the case to the carrier for torque transmission from the case to the carrier in a first direction only, wherein the first locking structure does not inhibit carrier rotation in a second direction.

摘要: The present invention discloses a clutch assembly which is comprised of (1) a cam plate which includes cams which are spaced about a central axis; (2) a rocker plate which includes at least one pocket, wherein the pocket includes a first rocker plate engagement surface and a second rocker plate engagement surface; and (3) at least one rocker which is pivotally situated within the pocket of the rocker plate, (4) a first solenoid, and (5) a second solenoid, wherein the solenoids can be activated or deactivated to allow for the clutch to be in a neutral position (to allow for free rotation in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions), to prevent rotation in a clockwise direction while allowing for free rotation in a counterclockwise direction, or to prevent rotation in a counterclockwise direction while allowing for free rotation in a clockwise direction.

摘要: As disclosed herein, a bidirectional ratchet for an anti-slippage knob-ratchet to adjust strap length for securing a virtual reality headset onto the head of a user is provided. In one aspect, the bidirectional ratchet may include a first pawl, configured to engage with a stationary ratchet drum in an outer housing to allow movement of a pinion in a clockwise direction. The bidirectional rachet may include a second pawl, configured to engage with the stationary ratchet drum to allow movement of the pinion in a counterclockwise direction. A knob system and a headset are also provided.

摘要: A coupling and control assembly including a non-contact, linear inductive position sensor is provided. The assembly includes a coupling housing and a stator structure disposed within the coupling housing and including a stator housing. A translator structure is coupled to a coupling member of the assembly to rotate therewith about a rotational axis. The sensor is mounted on one of the housings. The translator structure includes a coupler element made of an electrically conductive material. The sensor is configured to create a magnetic field to induce eddy currents in the electrically conductive material. Movement of the coupler element changes a magnetic field caused by the eddy currents. The sensor provides a position feedback signal for vehicle transmission control. The signal is correlated with the linear position of the translator structure along the rotational axis.

摘要: A coupling device has two components which are rotatable relative to one another, a recess which is provided on the first component, and a locking element which is held movably on the second component and is movable relative to the components between a locking position in which the locking element engages in the recess and a release position in which engagement of the locking element in the recess is prevented. An actuating device is provided which is displaceable relative to the components and relative to the locking element and which has an actuating element formed from a first material, by which a movement of the locking element out of one of the positions into the other position can be effected by displacement of the actuating device. The actuating device has a main body which is formed from a second material which is different from the first material.

摘要: A freewheel for a motor vehicle drive train includes a locking pawl carrier which is rotatable with respect to a rotational axis, first and second locking pawls fastened pivotably in a locking pawl receptacle where the locking pawl receptacle is fixedly coupled to the locking pawl carrier. A shaft is rotatable about the rotational axis and has first and second coupling depressions in which the first and second locking pawls are respectively engageable. A switching ring is coupled fixedly to the locking pawl carrier so as to rotate with the locking pawl carrier and the switching ring is movable along the rotational axis by an actuator. A position of the switching ring is detectable by a sensor. A movement of the switching ring in one direction loads the first and second locking pawls in opposite pivoting directions and fixes a position of the first and second locking pawls.

In a locked mode: the spring pivots the engagement portion into an opening of the drive plate, a rotation of the drive plate in a first direction is enabled, and a rotation of the drive plate in a second direction is blocked. To transition from the locked mode to a free-wheel mode, in which the rotation of the drive plate in the second direction is enabled, the actuator plate is rotated by an actuator to contact the control portion and pivot the strut to displace the engagement portion out of the opening of the drive plate.
