    Abstract: An apparatus, including: a main body (302) including at least one passage (320A, 320B) configured to pass a first cord section and an adjacent second cord section therethrough; and at least one cord lock (322A, 322B). When neither the first cord section nor the second cord section is disposed in the at least one cord lock, the main body is free to move along the first cord section and the second cord section which are disposed in the at least one passage. When the first cord section and the second cord section are disposed in the at least one cord lock the main body is not free to move along the first cord section and the second cord section. The first cord section and the second cord section can be selective moved into an out of the at least one cord lock.

    Abstract: A rope restraining and selective release device is provided that may be incorporated with a carabiner or other device for selective interconnection to an anchor. The device employs a selectively rotatable cam lever with a plurality of teeth and gripping geometry that cooperates with the corresponding geometry in a rope cradle to restrain a rope. Tension in the rope will allow it to pass through the device in one direction, but tension in the opposite direction will prevent rope movement through the device.

    Abstract: A cord stopper for moving along a length of cord and releasably engaging the cord includes a body delimiting a channel for passing the cord through the body.     Abstract: A rope buckle assembly includes a female buckle and a male buckle. The female buckle has an accommodating slot and a plurality of openings being in spatial communication with and respectively arranged at two opposite side of the accommodating slot. The accommodating slot has two guiding surfaces protruding from a slot bottom thereof. The male buckle has two through holes in spatial communication with each other and includes two elastic arms spaced apart from each other. When the male buckle and the female buckle jointly receive an external force to move from an initial position to a through position, the two elastic arms are compressed and deformed by respectively abutting against the two guiding surfaces, so that each of the two through holes becomes smaller, and each of the two through holes corresponds in position to two of the openings for jointly defining a rope channel.

    Abstract: A binding system is provided for attaching a first object to a second object and/or for bundling a plurality of objects. The binding system includes a locking work piece having a first channel and a second channel, the first channel having a channel opening on a first side of the locking work piece, the second channel having a channel opening at an opposite side of the locking work piece. An elastomeric cord has a first end and a second end, and a first cross-sectional dimension when in an unstretched condition, wherein the first channel has a width that is less than the first cross-sectional dimension of the elastomer cord, wherein the elastomer cord may be guided around the second object so that the second end can be connected to the locking work piece by stretching the elastomer cord to reduce the cross-sectional dimension of the elastomer cord to a size smaller than the width of the first channel, inserted into the first channel, and unstretched so that the elastomer cord is retained within the first channel, and wherein the second channel has a width that is less than the first cross-sectional dimension of the elastomer cord, wherein the second end of the elastomer cord that is retained within the first channel can be further stretched to reduce the cross-sectional dimension of the elastomer cord to a size smaller than the width of the second channel, inserted into the second channel, and unstretched so that the elastomer cord is retained within the second channel.

    Abstract: The hook and loop rope of the present invention is configured to facilitate tying objects down without requiring a user to tie a knot in the rope. Instead, the user need only loop the rope through a tiedown (or structural equivalent) prior to engaging hooks of a first portion of the rope with loops of a second portion of the rope. In the rolled configuration, a plurality of hooks associated with a hook side of the rope engage with a plurality of loops associated with a loop side of the rope, thereby retaining the rope in the rolled configuration. The plurality of hooks are displaced from the plurality of loops to move the rope into an unrolled configuration. Then, in the tie-down configuration, a first portion of the rope overlaps a second portion, thereby preventing or otherwise inhibiting movement of the first portion relative to the second.
