    Abstract: A power transmission device includes: a first rotation member; a first rotation shaft supporting the first rotation member; a second rotation member; a second rotation shaft supporting the second rotation member; and an endless flexible member wound around the first rotation member and the second rotation member, in which at least one of the first rotation member and the second rotation member is movable in an axial direction thereof, and the endless flexible member includes a restriction portion configured to restrict movement of at least one of the first rotation member and the second rotation member in the axial direction.

    Abstract: A sprocket having a gear tooth valley radius which varies around the sprocket perimeter provides additional gear torque multiplication to a rider, which is especially beneficial when climbing hills. In some embodiments, the sprocket is a bicycle chainring with reduced gear tooth valley radius over at least a portion of the chainring. In other embodiments, the sprocket is a bicycle rear wheel cassette cog with increased gear tooth valley radius over at least a portion of the cassette cog. Regions of both reduced and increased gear tooth valley radius may be present on a given sprocket. The sprocket valley floor surface may be rounded or may include N segments adjoined by N vertices. The segments of the valley floor surface may be curved or straight. The vertices of the valley floor surface may be curved or angled. Embodiments for bicycles and motorcycles are presented.

    Abstract: A rotation transmission disc includes: an outer circumferential portion on which a load acts when rotation is transmitted; a center opening portion formed inside the outer circumferential portion; and a plurality of attachment holes for attachment of the rotation transmission disc 1 to a rotating element. A first crosspiece portions are formed in each of ranges of divided angles formed by two adjacent attachment holes with respect to a center of the rotation transmission disc. The first crosspiece portion extends from a load point, which is an intersection between a straight line extending in a radial direction to internally divide the divided angles at a predetermined angular ratio and a load radius position of the outer circumferential portion, to one of the attachment holes forming the divided angles. The second crosspiece portion extends from the load point to the other attachment hole of the attachment holes forming the divided angles.
