    Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system of controlling flow of a flowable material including interposing an automatic magnetic valve comprising a magnetic actuator moveable in a valve body relative to a flow path for the flowable material without any on-board magnetic field source for actuating movement of the magnetic actuator in the valve body, or control circuit or electrical power source; selecting operating state of the valve to normally-open or normally-closed by configuration of the restoring force component relative to the magnetic actuator; positioning the valve relative to an off-board magnetic field to effectively take advantage of a direction and magnitude of the off-board magnetic field; and operatively connecting and controlling a flow of the flowable material through the valve with the off-board magnetic field influence on the on-board magnetic actuator.

    Abstract: A valve system for controlling a flow of material includes a pipeline including an upstream portion a downstream portion. The system includes a variable flow restrictor configured for providing a restrictive orifice within the pipeline and creating a pressure differential in the flow of material high-pressure material in the upstream portion and low-pressure material in the downstream portion. The system includes a low-pressure tube connected to the downstream portion and a low-pressure chamber connected to the tube and receiving low-pressure material. The chamber includes a secondary flapper configured for selectively blocking the tube. The system includes a primary flapper disposed between the upstream portion and the low-pressure chamber and configured to be disposed in one of a first and second position. The flapper is held in the first position by the pressure differential. The flapper moves to the second position blocking the pipeline when a leak occurs.

    Abstract: An optimized gate valve having a box-shaped valve body is provided. The valve body (20) includes spaced apart side plates (22, 23) and spaced apart end plates. The valve body includes an internal fluid passage and an internal gate chamber extending transverse to the internal fluid passage. A slab gate is provided in the internal gate chamber and is operable to move within the internal gate chamber between an open position allowing fluid flow through the fluid passage and a closed position obstructing fluid flow through the internal fluid passage. The design optimization requires less welding, reduces the thickness of the valve body walls, uses reinforcement ribs (50) having an optimal position and shape, and uses fins (48) to help the pipe connection contain the internal pressure of the valve.

    Abstract: A valve device includes a housing, a stationary disk, a drive device, a shaft and a rotor. The stationary disk is fixed at an inside of the housing and has at least one flow passage hole. The shaft is rotated about a central axis by the drive device. The rotor increases or decreases an opening degree of the at least one flow passage hole. The rotor includes: a drive disk that slides relative to the stationary disk; and a lever that is fixed to the drive disk and couples between the drive disk and the shaft. A torsion spring is placed between the shaft and the lever and urges the lever relative to the shaft in a circumferential direction around the central axis of the shaft. The shaft has a plurality of contact portions configured to contact the lever and respectively located at a plurality of locations.

    Abstract: A gate valve and method according to which a gate body extends within a valve cavity, a fluid bore extends through the gate body, and a passage extends from the fluid bore, through the gate body, and to the valve cavity. The valve cavity is pressurized with a lubricant to prevent, or at least resist, solid particles (e.g., sand, fines, debris, etc.) from entering the valve cavity.     Abstract: A gate valve includes a valve base, a first piston unit disposed in the valve base and driven by a fluid to move the valve door between a first position where the valve port is opened and a second position where the valve port is covered, a second piston unit disposed in the valve base and driven by the fluid to move the valve door between the second position and a third position where the valve port is sealed, and a valve door fitted to a valve port of the valve base. At least one flow channel switch is disposed in the valve base. When the flow channel switch is turned on, the fluid is allowed to pass through, such that the second piston unit drives accurately the valve door to seal the valve port, thereby achieving purposes of enhancing accuracy in operation and ensuing airproof performance.
