摘要: Deformable valves and atomizer designs for a vaporizer (e.g., electronic cigarette). The vaporizer may be used for vaporization of liquid and/or organic material. The vaporizer may enable enhanced flow control of fluid and may generate high quality and quantity of vapor efficiently. In some instances, flow path of the vaporizer may allow bulk fluid flow, e.g., in contrast to capillary flow, to deliver fluid to a vicinity of the vaporizer. In some instances, the vaporizer may utilize improved atomizer designs for vaporizing devices, where said designs can be configured optionally, with various embodiments of a breath-modulating deformable valve.

摘要: A system including: a temperature responsive polymer configured to expand to a cross-sectional area of a fluid channel when a temperature of the fluid in the fluid channel is greater than or equal to a temperature threshold Tth, and to retract to less than the cross-sectional area when the temperature of the fluid in the fluid channel is less than Tth, an expandable material layer surrounding the temperature responsive polymer and configured to expand and retract with the expansion and retraction of the temperature responsive polymer, and a sieve housing encasing the expandable material and being configured to be disposed in the fluid channel, wherein when the temperature of the fluid in the fluid channel is greater than or equal to Tth, the temperature responsive polymer expands to the cross-sectional area such that the expandable material layer prevents the fluid in the fluid channel from passing through the sieve housing.

摘要: A shut-off valve for a pressurized-gas vessel includes a valve closing body which can perform stroke movements and is preloaded by the spring force of a closing spring against a valve seat. When the valve closing body is in a closed position, a connection of a valve inlet to a valve outlet is shut off. The shut-off valve includes an actuator arrangement for opening the valve closing body. The actuator arrangement interacts with an actuating element which is arranged spaced apart from and coaxial with respect to the valve closing body and which is movable by the actuator arrangement in the direction of the valve closing body. When the actuating element abuts against the valve closing body, an opening impulse can be generated.

The control signal is determined from a) at least one actual filling level parameter; b) a temperature signal from the temperature sensor; c) a system parameter; and d) at least one of a target filling level parameter and a target filling level change parameter. A related seat and method of controlling same are also disclosed.

摘要: A tunable oscillating heat pipe system that includes an oscillating closed loop heat pipe configured for movement of a fluid in an internal passage in the closed loop to transfer heat from a first portion of the closed loop to a second portion. The heat pipe system further includes a valve arranged in a section of the internal passage movable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the valve is arranged to permit movement of the fluid in the internal passage and in the closed position, the valve is arranged in the internal passage to limit movement of the fluid in a part of the internal passage. Movement of the valve between the open position and the closed position can be a function of at least one of temperature at the first portion, temperature at the second portion, or temperature at the valve.

摘要: A valve for a pneumatic system, has: a first enclosure defining a first chamber and a first connection port; a second enclosure defining a second chamber and a second connection port; a first shell subjected to a first pressure differential and movable from a default position to a reversed position via snap-through buckling upon the first pressure differential reaching a threshold; and a second shell having a shape different than a shape of the first shell, the second shell resiliently movable from an initial position to a deformed position when subjected to a second pressure differential, wherein a first flow rate of a fluid via the first connection port induces deformation of the second shell followed by a snapping of the first shell thereby generating a second flow rate greater than the first flow rate.
