The reinforcing layer includes an organic fiber with an inclination angle of 49° or more and 61° or less.

摘要: A flexible tube for conveying abrasive materials which has a tubular body extending along a main extension axis is provided. The tubular body has a thickness extending from an inner side wall, which delimits an inner cavity used for transporting abrasive material, to an outer side wall, opposite to the inner side wall along a radial direction, perpendicular and incident to the main extension axis. The tubular body has a covering layer at the outer side wall and an elastomeric matrix at least partially embedding circular disks having a diameter and flat faces, made of ceramic material, namely a first flat face directly facing the inner cavity so as to at least partially form the inner side wall and a second flat face embedded in the elastomeric matrix.

摘要: A system for sensing a physical property of a fluid flowing inside a composite hose includes a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader arranged to transmit radio frequency signals. An RFID tag receives the radio frequency signals and exchanges the received radio frequency to electrical energy powering the RFID tag. An included sensor electrically connected to the RFID tag receives the electrical energy from the RFID tag and powers the sensor to obtain measurement data of at least one physical property of the fluid and transmit the measurement data to the RFID tag. The RFID tag transmits the measurement data to the RFID reader using the radio frequency.

The method comprises: via a production device, providing a desired quantity of at least one fluid to be stored; transporting the quantity of fluid from the production device into at least one flexible pipe member via at least one fluid import region of the flexible pipe member, the flexible pipe member being windable around a spool element and comprising an inner fluid retaining layer that defines a bore region of the flexible pipe member, an outer sheath disposed over and coaxial with the inner fluid retaining layer and at least one composite reinforcement layer comprising helically wound fibre reinforced thermoplastic tapes that is disposed between the inner fluid retaining layer and the outer sheath; closing the fluid import region of the flexible pipe member to thereby retain the quantity of fluid in the bore region of the flexible pipe member; and storing the quantity of fluid at a first pressure in the bore region.

摘要: A process for producing a thermoplastic composite pipe, where the process includes:
a) providing a tubular liner having a wall containing a thermoplastic polymer A in the region of the outer surface;
b) providing a tape containing reinforcing fibres in a matrix containing a thermoplastic polymer B, where polymer A and polymer B are different;
