摘要: An undersea hydraulic coupling member having a ring-shaped seal with multiple sealing surfaces extending radially inwardly therefrom is disclosed. The multiple sealing surfaces help guide the probe of the male coupling member into the female member without the risk of drag or galling of the receiving chamber or metal seal retained therein. The seal has an interfit with reverse inclined shoulders in the female member to restrain the seal from moving radially inwardly due to vacuum or low pressure. The seal also includes an internal biasing element to restrain the seal from moving radially inwardly during de-mating of the coupling members.

摘要: A fluid coupling includes a body, a poppet valve assembly, a handle shaft assembly, and a retention member. The body has a fluid conduit, a through-hole extending through a sidewall, and one or more openings that extend between an external surface of the body and an interior of the through hole. The poppet valve assembly is disposed within the fluid conduit and is selectively movable between an open position and a closed position. The handle shaft assembly extends through the through-hole and into the fluid conduit and is interconnected with the poppet valve assembly such that the handle shaft assembly can be actuated to move the poppet valve assembly between the open position and the closed position. The retention member is insertable through the one or more openings and into the through-hole to interact with the handle shaft assembly to selectively hold the handle shaft assembly in the body.

摘要: The invention is directed to a device for inflating a tire that includes a housing with at least one first connection port and at least one second connection port. The second connection port includes connecting means to interconnect the device with a pressure tank. The first connection port is fluidically connected to the second connection port by means of a fluid passage. Furthermore the device comprises a first valve. When a pressure tank is connected to the second connection port and when the first valve is in a closed state, the first valve is suited to prevent air from flowing from inside of the pressure tank out of the first connection port. When the first valve is in an open state, it is suited to allow passage of air from inside of the pressure tank through the fluid passage to the first connection port. The device further includes a second valve that is connectable to an inflator for pressurizing the tank.
