    摘要: A lubricant pump includes a housing mountable to the upper end of a lubricant container and having a vertical central bore, an outlet passage extending between the central bore and an outlet port fluidly connectable with the lubricant distributor and a vent chamber having an inlet and an outlet. A vent inlet passage extends between the central bore and the vent chamber inlet and a vent outlet passage extends between the vent chamber outlet and a vent outlet port fluidly connectable with a container cavity. A movable valve element is disposed within the vent chamber and displaceable along an axis between a position in which the valve element obstructs the chamber inlet and/or the chamber outlet and a second position in which the chamber inlet is fluidly connected with the chamber outlet to provide an internal flow path from the central bore to the vent outlet port.

A sensor, associated with a spool from which the cable is being dispensed, is be used to automatically control the amount of lubricant that is to be dispensed onto the cable. A second described system comprises a custom bucket or bucket insert which allow a cable to pass through the bucket whereupon lubricant will be automatically applied to the cable and the container includes a profiled base to ensure proper passage of the cable through the lubricant and ensure the maximum usage of any lubricant.

    摘要: Aircraft engine oil tanks, lubrication systems, and associated methods are provided. The oil tank includes a first tank portion defining a first volume for holding oil and a second tank portion defining a second volume for holding oil, in fluid communication with the first volume. The first tank portion includes an oil outlet for delivering oil to a lubrication load via a pump. The first volume is in fluid communication with a vent opening for venting the oil tank. At least part of the second tank portion is disposed higher than the vent opening for retaining a quantity of oil inside the oil tank during a negative-g force flight condition and facilitate the recovery of the lubrication system following the negative-g force flight condition.

    摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for dosing a lubricant into compressed-air supplied to an air motor. According to the invention, the lubricant is stored in a lubricant storage space (17) from which the lubricant is led, along a lubricant line (19), to a doser (20). The doser (20) doses the lubricant into a dosing line and, therefrom, into a compressed-air line (12) extending to the air motor. The amount of lubricant contained in the storage space (17) is controlled by changing the volume of the storage space (17) by directing the pressure of the compressed-air line (12) to the lubricant storage space (17).
