摘要： A lighting assembly for use in a cigaret lighter shell. The lighting assembly comprises an insulative case for housing a power supply, such as batteries, and conductors for establishing an electrical circuit that includes the batteries, the conductors, and a light bulb and that does not rely on conductivity of the shell. An adjustable reflector and lens may be provided to focus and direct the beam generated by the bulb. One conductor is moved into contact with another of the conductors in response to opening of the lid of the shell to close the electrical circuit to turn the flashlight on. One of the conductors is moved out of contact with another in response to closing of the lid to turn the flashlight off. One of the conductors is positioned for preventing its contact with another conductor when the lighting assembly is removed from the shell so that it is turned off. One conductor may be manually positioned or locked in position so that it is not in contact with another conductor so that the flashlight is turned off while the lid is open.

摘要： A portable lamp, especially for mounting on the head of the user, includes an adjustment collar designed to ensure displacement of the reflector causing a variation of the light beam focus, and operation of the bulb switch. The lamp comprises a single casing having an insulating body subdivided by an intermediate wall into a first rear compartment housing the power supply unit, and a second front compartment housing the bulb and the adjustable focusing device. The wall is provided with a communication orifice between the two adjacent compartments, and with a fixed sleeve to house the bulb. The switch is composed of an elastic contact blade cooperating with a flange of the reflector. Refer to FIG. 1.

摘要： An apparatus that removably connects an AA or AAA-size flashlight conjoined with a reflective device that can be removably attached to a retractable leash, or any other device, or the forearm of a person using a standard non-retractable leash. The apparatus has a loop section, and long and short members of primarily elastic material with Velcro™ hook and loop type fasteners positioned at either end. The loop section is a receiving area for a flashlight and is integrated within the long and short members. The long and short members and loop section have a reflective property. The long and short members wrap completely around the vertical mid-section of the retractable leash. The reflective quality of the device combined with use of a flashlight allows the person walking a dog to become more visible to others in the absence of ambient light, as well as, providing increased visibility by the individual person.

摘要： A lighting assembly for use in a cigaret lighter shell is disclosed. The lighting assembly comprises an insulative case for housing a power supply, such as batteries, and conductors for establishing an electrical circuit that includes the batteries, the conductors, a light bulb, and the cigaret lighter shell. A reflector and lens may be provided to focus and direct the beam generated by the bulb. A resilient portion of one of the conductors is biased against a wall of the cigaret lighter shell to close the electrical circuit. An insulative tip is provided on an end of the conductor and may be manually manipulated to remove the conductor from contact with the shell wall to open the electrical circuit and place the flashlight in an unlocked off position. A groove may be provided in the case to receive the tip and maintain an open circuit to place the flashlight in a locked off position. When a lid of the cigaret lighter is closed, the lid engages the tip to remove the conductor from contact with the shell wall and turn the flashlight off.
