Abstract: A water distribution apparatus and method including cold and hot water supplies, a fan coil (or chilled beam device), a control valve having cold and hot water inlets and outlets, cold and hot water outputs configured to supply cold and hot water to the fan coil, cold and hot water return inlets configured to receive from the fan coil the water supplied by the cold and/or water outputs and outputting the cold and/or hot water to the cold and hot water supply lines, respectively, via the cold and hot water outlets, respectively. Abstract: A high-efficiency extra-large cooling capacity series water-cooled chiller in an energy station, comprising at least two evaporators, a condenser, a chilled water main pipe and a cooling water main pipe, all the evaporators form an evaporator series set in a series connection form, both ends of the evaporator series set are connected to the chilled water main pipe, and each evaporator is provided with a refrigerant channel for connecting the condenser. According to the present invention, the evaporators are set in series combination. When the load is very low, one compressor operates at a high load or at full load, that is, the compressor continuously operates in a high efficiency zone, which avoids multiple compressors operating in an inefficient zone, and high total power.

Abstract: This air conditioner performs a cooling operation and a heating operation in parallel with each other with an outdoor unit and indoor units connected together through two communication pipes. The air conditioner includes a switching mechanism changing the directions of refrigerants flowing through the communication pipes depending on whether a heating dominant operation is being performed in a first load region where a cooling load is relatively light or a second load region where the cooling load is heavier than in the first load region. In the second load region, the switching mechanism allows a low-pressure refrigerant to flow from the indoor units to the outdoor unit through the second communication pipe thicker than the first communication pipe to reduce a performance deterioration due to the pressure loss involved with the heating dominant operation.

Abstract: An operation management apparatus includes: a refrigerant return temperature prediction unit that predicts a temperature Tr of a refrigerant returning from an air conditioner to a heat source system; a heat storage capacity estimation unit that estimates a heat storage capacity of the heat source system, based on the predicted refrigerant return temperature Tr; and an operation plan unit that creates a plan based on the estimated heat storage capacity. The heat source system includes: a storage tank that supplies the refrigerant to the air conditioner; a refrigerant generation unit that cools the refrigerant returning from the air conditioner via the storage tank, and supplies it to the storage tank; a refrigerant feed temperature detection unit that measures a temperature of the refrigerant from the refrigerant generation unit; and a refrigerant return temperature detection unit that measures a temperature of the refrigerant returning from the storage tank.
