    摘要: A cooling and desalination system includes a humidification-dehumidification (HDH) system and an ejector cooling cycle (ECC) system. The HDH system includes a heater for heating saline water, a humidifier for humidifying a carrier gas using the saline water, and a dehumidifier for dehumidifying the carrier gas to obtain desalinated water. The ECC system includes a generator for generating a primary flow of a refrigerant, an evaporator for cooling and providing a secondary flow of the refrigerant, an ejector for the primary flow and the secondary flow to pass through to obtain a super-heated stream, and a condenser. The heater and the generator are configured to connect to a heat source. The ECC system and the HDH system are connected at the condenser for heat exchange between the super-heated stream and the saline water to pre-heat the saline water.

    摘要: An air conditioning system sufficiently cleans an indoor heat exchanger by using moisture in indoor air even when a room is dry before operation. An air conditioning system includes an air conditioner having an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, a humidifier, and a controller. The indoor unit has an indoor heat exchanger and exchanges heat of the indoor air by passing the indoor air through the indoor heat exchanger. The humidifier supplies moisture to the room to increase a humidity in the room. The controller controls the indoor unit and the humidifier. In the cleaning mode, the controller controls the humidifier to raise the humidity in the room, and then controls the indoor unit to perform a cleaning motion of cleaning a surface of the indoor heat exchanger by generating dew condensation water on the surface of the indoor heat exchanger.

    摘要: A method for maintaining a boiling rate of a base fluid can include a determination of a fluid level of a turbulated base fluid in a reservoir. The fluid level can be determined by measuring at least one first height of the turbulated base fluid above the fluid level with at least a first sensor. The fluid level can be determined by measuring at least one second height of the turbulated base fluid below the fluid level with the first sensor. The method can include the establishment of the fluid level of the turbulated base fluid. The fluid level can be established according to the measured at least one first and second heights. The method can include the graduated introduction of an input fluid into the reservoir. A control valve can gradually introduce the input fluid in proportion to the established fluid level of the turbulated base fluid.

    摘要: An electrode humidifier device having a cartridge and a reconfigurable steam nozzle, connected to the cartridge that may be changeable between a direct and a remote mounting. Fill and drain valves on a manifold may be operated to add or drain water, respectively, in the cartridge. A sensor may indicate a water level in the cartridge. A controller may be connected to the sensor, and the fill and drain valves. A steam output capacity of the cartridge may be maintained at a predetermined magnitude by controlling the level of water with a controller. The cartridge may have one or more handles for easily inserting or removing the cartridge in a housing. The manifold may be installed in the drain pan for easier cartridge replacement. The humidifier device may be directly mounted on an air duct of a heating system or can be installed remotely.

    摘要: Disclosed is an inline flow control system with parallel flow solenoid valves. In particular, in certain embodiments, the flow control system includes a flow control device with switch ports in electrical communication with a high float switch and a low float switch. The flow control device includes a first solenoid valve to control fluid flow through a first fluid pipe based on the high float switch, and a second solenoid valve to control fluid flow through a second fluid pipe based on the low float switch. In certain embodiments, the flow control system includes a manual bypass valve for a third fluid pipe. The fluid pipes are in parallel flow. In certain embodiments, the flow control system is devoid of an electronic controller. Accordingly, the inline flow control system can be retrofitted for existing flow systems with minimal cost and effort.
