摘要: A condensate trap for an air conditioning system includes a chamber having an upstream port coupled to the air conditioning system and a downstream port coupled to the external atmosphere, a sealing device disposed in the chamber. Whether the trap is used with a blow-through or a draw-through system, the spring keeps the sealing device in contact with the upper seat member until the force of the spring is overcome by the weight of condensate accumulating on top of the float plus or minus the pressure exerted by the air conditioning system. When the spring force exerted on the sealing device is overcome, the sealing device moves out of contact with the upper seat member and the condensate drains from the trap.

摘要: An outdoor unit (1) of an air conditioner comprises a unit case having a rectangular shape in section and composed of side panels (4, 4, - - - ) in which a machine chamber (3) and a heat exchanger chamber (2) are defined so as to be vertically aligned in an installed state with the heat exchanger chamber being disposed above the machine chamber and being sectioned therefrom by means of a partition plate (12) which also acts as a drain plate or pan, and the side panels surrounding the heat exchanger chamber is formed with air suction ports (4a, 4a - - - ). The outdoor unit (1) further comprises a heat exchanger unit (17, 18) having four side wall sections at least opposing two of which are inclined inward by a predetermined angle with respect to inner surfaces of the side panels to which the air suction ports are formed. Thus, the outside air can be effectively and smoothly introduced inside the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit is also provided with a duct unit (20) arranged in the unit case in association with the drain pan (12) for effectively discharging drain, cooling electrical part such as heat sink (22) and improving the outer appearance of the outdoor unit.

摘要: A process for recovering potable water from the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. In this process the exhaust gases are cooled causing water to condense out, and the water formed is passed through particulate filters, activated carbon filters and ion exchange resin filters. In this process, the water is treated to reduce the levels of nitrates, sulfates, acidic and other organic components therein (for example, by passing it through a flow through capacitor) before the water is passed through the ion exchange resins. The apparatus for practicing this process is also disclosed.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a cool air circulating blower for a refrigerator. The blower comprises a blowing fan for blowing cool air, a motor for driving the blowing fan, and a shroud for guiding the cool air leaving the blowing fan. The shroud is designed to suppress generation of turbulence in such a manner that the cool air leaving the blowing fan is dispersed quickly and condensed water obtained by condensation of moisture laden in the cool air is guided to some places other than the motor, whereby the noise caused due to the turbulence is reduced, the power consumption is decreased, the blowing efficiency is improved, and any breakdown of the motor due to the condensed water is prevented.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for extracting freshwater from atmospheric humidity in extremely hot and humid climates and supplying freshwater to a small group of people, a building, a farm, or forestation area. The freshwater is treated to provide drinking water by disinfecting to eliminate microorganisms and filtration to remove suspended particulates from air, erosion or corrosion products, and disinfected waste. Compact units provide drinking water for individuals, passengers in cars, vans, trucks, or recreational boats, or crewmembers on a seagoing cargo ship whether from atmospheric humidity or from moisture-laden gases. Furthermore, systems are disclosed for the ample supply of freshwater with minimal treatment for small- to large-sized buildings in a manner that alleviates the heat load on buildings. Collection of freshwater from hot humid ambient air is also provided for other uses, such as irrigation and farm animal drinking. Various methods are used for condensation of water vapor suspended in the air as alternative to conventional refrigeration cycles using CFC refrigerants. Devices are disclosed using naturally occurring brackish cold water, circulation of cooling water cooled by thermoelectric cooling or thermoacoustic refrigeration as well as evaporative cooling and transpiration cooling. Water produced by the systems may flow under gravitational forces entirely or with the assistance of boasting pumps.

Wherein the elevating members maintain the items at an elevation above a water level created within the basin and upon the base surface, the water level resulting from melting of the ice particulates.
