摘要: A plenum, positioned beneath a first coil and above a window disposed on a top portion of a processing chamber, has side walls and a top surface covering an upper surface of the window and has a first air inlet positioned at a center portion to receive airflow from a first air amplifier. The first air inlet includes holes to distribute the air across the window within the side walls to reduce hotspots at a center portion of the window. The plenum includes a second air inlet at an edge portion of the top surface to receive the airflow from a second air amplifier to reduce hotspots at an edge portion of the window, and a third air inlet between the center and edge portions of the top surface to receive the airflow from a third air amplifier to reduce hotspots at a middle portion of the window.

摘要: A refrigeration system includes at least one refrigeration circuit 2. The refrigeration circuit 2 includes a compressor 10, a first heat rejecting heat exchanger 6, a second heat rejecting heat exchanger 8, an expansion valve 12 and a heat absorbing heat exchanger 4. The refrigeration circuit 2 further includes a heat recovery control valve 14 for controlling flow of the compressed refrigerant fluid between the first heat rejecting heat exchanger and the second heat rejecting heat exchanger. The first heat rejecting heat exchanger 6 is for receiving compressed refrigerant fluid from the compressor 10 and exchanging heat between the compressed refrigerant fluid and a second fluid to increase the temperature of the second fluid. The second heat rejecting heat exchanger 8 is for receiving the compressed refrigerant fluid and exchanging heat with ambient air to cool the compressed refrigerant fluid.

摘要: An augmented heat transfer system can be used to control the humidity of adjacent conditioned spaces by selectively absorbing latent heat energy from a relatively warm space, such as a loading dock, and discharging this energy in the form of sensible heat to an adjacent relatively cold space, such as a freezer served by the loading dock. This transfer of sensible heat energy into the cold space induces a vapor compression system to remove sufficient moisture from the cold space to avoid uncontrolled precipitation. At the same time, the process of removing moisture/latent heat from the warm space can also be used to reduce humidity in the warm space via condensation on a cold evaporator. Therefore, in operations where the warm space and the cold space are both nominally sealed from ambient air, such as an indoor loading dock serving a freezer, the augmented heat transfer system can eliminate uncontrolled precipitation in the freezer while also mitigating moisture ingress to the freezer from the dock space.

摘要: A modular air handler is adapted for installation in a racking assembly behind palletized product. The air handler operates to move air through the adjacent layers of palletized product upon placement of the palletized product in the adjacent space. The air handler can be deactivated in order to prevent unnecessary air flow when no palletized product is present in the adjacent space. A number of the modular air handlers may be provided for a racking assembly, such that individual pallet bays may be activated or deactivated as palletized product is deposited or withdrawn from the various pallet bays of the rack.

摘要: A multiple temperature automated storage system includes a rack with multiple levels of shelves defining item storage positions, an aisle at each level, and a plurality of shuttles adapted to operate in the aisles for storing items to and retrieving items from the storage positions. A thermally insulated enclosure encloses some of the levels of the rack to define a low temperature zone with the remaining levels of the rack defining a higher temperature zone. A method of storing items at two different temperatures in a common automated storage system includes having a first portion of the automated storage system enclosed in a thermally insulated enclosure and a second portion of the automated storage system outside of the thermally insulated enclosure. A lift is provided in the second portion for supplying items to and retrieving items from both of the first and second portions, without entering the first portion.
