摘要: A refrigerator may be provided with a dispenser which includes a nozzle pipe; a light source that radiates ultraviolet light from one end of the nozzle pipe to an inner space of the nozzle pipe, a window that is provided between the one end of the nozzle pipe and the light source, and a liquid supplying hose barb connected to the nozzle pipe via an elbow. Liquid exiting the elbow swirls as ultraviolet light is irradiated onto the liquid.

A left-room temperature setting button is an operation unit for a user switch the set temperature of the second housing room. The set temperature difference between the first and second housing rooms is controlled to be within a prescribed value. When the set temperature of one of the first and second housing rooms is changed so that the set temperature exceeds a prescribed value, a microcomputer automatically changes the other set temperature so that the set temperature difference is within a prescribed value.

The operation includes receiving a first input signal apart from the appliance, the first input signal including a first requested volume of liquid; storing the first requested volume of liquid within the dispenser; directing an emission of a notification via the user input in response to storing the first requested volume of liquid; and initiating a dispensing action from the nozzle after directing the emission of the notification.
