Abstract: Shipping system for storing and/or transporting temperature-sensitive materials. In one embodiment, the system includes an outer box having four side walls, bottom closure flaps, and top closure flaps. A vacuum insulated panel (VIP) is detachably coupled to one of the top closure flaps and is removably covered by a cover. An insulation unit is removably positioned within the outer box, the insulation unit including a plurality of VIPs arranged to define a cavity bounded by a bottom wall and four side walls. A disposable liner is removably mounted on the insulation unit. The liner may be a thermoformed sheet and may cover the interior and top surfaces of the insulation unit. A plurality of temperature-control members and a product box may be removably positioned in the liner. Preferably, the liner is shaped so that the temperature-control members snugly fit around all sides of the product box.

Abstract: A food or beverage item container cooling assembly for limiting warming of the food or beverage item includes a shell, which has an open top. The shell comprises an outer wall and an inner wall, which define an internal space. The internal space is substantially occupied by a substance having a latent heat of fusion that is equal to or greater than that of water. The shell can be positioned in a freezer to substantially fuse the substance. The shell is one of a plurality of shells, each having a respective shape and a respective size, thereby providing shells of a variety of shapes and sizes. A complementarily shaped container containing a food or beverage item is insertable into the shell. The substance absorbs heat from the complementarily shaped container to limit warming of the respective food or beverage item.

Through full contact between the convex ribs on an outer surface of the inner core and the refrigerant, cold energy of the refrigerant in the interlayer is quickly conducted to a drink in the inner core to quickly cool the drink into a slushy drink.

Abstract: A Cold Therapy Cooler Apparatus includes a port body with a flange and threads that is inserted into an orifice in the sidewall or lid of a cooler. An interior retaining ring with compatible threads cooperates with the flange to retain the port body within the orifice. A circulating pump is inside the cooler. An internal supply hose is connected to the pump, and to a supply pass-through that passes through the port body and is connected to an exterior supply hose. The exterior hoses are connected to an anatomical area cooling device. Abstract: An insulated container for storing or shipping bottles includes a body and a lid. The body has a shell and an insert portion formed from an insulating material. The lid also has a shell and an insert portion formed from the insulating which meets the insert portion of the body to form cavities. The cavities include a temperature control pack cavity and four or more separate bottle storage cavities distributed around the temperature control pack cavity. Each of the bottle storage cavities is configured for receiving a bottle from among three or more different bottle types. Each of the bottle types has a different shape and/or size than each of the other bottle types. Each of the bottle storage cavities includes at least three bottle stop features on one or more internal surfaces. Each bottle stop feature is associated with a different one of the three or more bottle types.
