摘要: An exposed tube cold plate structure includes a plate body and a water cooling tube. The plate body is formed with a groove. The water cooling tube is pressed and inlaid in the groove. The water cooling tube has a water cooling tube passage for a working medium to flow through. The water cooling tube passage has a passage inner wall. Multiple raised bodies and multiple channels are annularly alternately disposed on the passage inner wall for greatly enlarging the contact area between the passage inner wall and the working medium. In addition, the working medium flows through the water cooling tube passage in a state of turbulent flow so as to enhance the heat exchange amount of the cold plate.

摘要: An apparatus for dissipating heat from a photonic transceiver module. The apparatus includes a top-plate member disposed in a length direction of a package for the photonic transceiver module. The apparatus further includes multiple fins formed on the top-plate member along the length direction from a backend position to a frontend position except at least one fin with a shorter length, forming an elongated void from the backend position to one backend of the at least one fin. Additionally, the apparatus includes a cover member disposed over the multiple fins with a horizontal sheet, two vertical side sheets, and a flange bent vertically from a middle portion of backend of the horizontal sheet. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a spring loaded in the elongated void between the flange and the one backend of the at least one fin to minimize an air gap at the backend of the horizontal sheet.

摘要: A heat exchanger includes a header and a side plate. The header has a face plate that defines a plurality of orifices. The header has a protrusion that extends outward from the header and down such that a gap is formed between the header and the protrusion. An external portion of the protrusion is configured to break away from the header during thermal expansion. The side plate is disposed adjacent to an array of alternating tubes and fins. Each tube extends into one of the orifices of the plurality of orifices. The side plate has an end that is secured to the external portion of the protrusion.

摘要: This invention relates to a cooling system for an internal combustion engine, and is particularly suitable for cooling emission gases from electronically controlled, Tier 3 fuel injection engines [12] used in trackless mining machinery, wherein the fuel injection engine [12] includes an exhaust manifold [14], a turbocharger [16], and a catalytic converter [18] through which the emission gasses sequentially pass before they are released to atmosphere. The cooling system [10] comprises an exhaust manifold housing [20] for at least partially encasing the exhaust manifold [14], a turbocharger housing [34] for at least partially encasing the turbocharger [16], and a catalytic converter housing [92] for at least partially encasing the catalytic converter [18]. The cooling system [10] also comprises an exhaust cooler [118] adapted for rapidly cooling emission gasses exiting the catalytic converter [18] before they are released to atmosphere. The cooling system [10] is characterised therein that engine emission gasses are maintained at relatively high temperatures until after they pass through the catalytic converter [18], and thereafter undergoes rapid cooling as they pass through the exhaust cooler [118].

摘要: Methods and apparatus for processing flexible graphite sheet material involve patterning the material, on at least one major surface, prior to further processing of the material such as densification, lamination, folding or shaping into three-dimensional structures. For densification and lamination, the patterning is selected to facilitate the removal of air from the flexible graphite sheet material during the densification and lamination process. For folding or shaping, the patterning is selected to render the graphite sheet material more flexible. In some embodiments, methods for increasing the through-plane conductivity of flexible graphite sheet material are employed. Integrated heat removal devices include sheets of graphite material that have been selectively patterned in different regions to impart desirable localized properties to the material prior to it being shaped or formed into an integrated heat removal device. Coatings and/or resin impregnation can also be used to impart desirable properties to the material or device.
