摘要： A slide for an automatic pistol includes a cavity, a housing in the cavity, a laser module at least partially received in the housing, a power source, circuitry, and a striker. The slide has a first mode in which it emits laser light and a second mode in which it does not emit laser light. The striker has a first position in which it does not cause the laser module to emit laser light. When the pistol's trigger is pulled, the pistol's firing pin contacts the striker and moves the striker backwards from the first position to a biased position. When the firing pin moves out of contact with the striker, the striker moves forward to a second position and causes the circuitry to transmit power from the power source to the laser module, which causes the laser module to emit laser light.

摘要： A firearm includes a frame to which a barrel and slide are slideably mounted and in which a magazine is slideably received. A bumper telescoped on a push rod slideable with the slide pushes a shell in the magazine onto a pivotal carrier. Locking wings pivotally mounted to the barrel are cammed in troughs of a cam block as the barrel and the slide slide parallel to the longitudinal axis of the barrel relative to the cam block, so that lock tabs are removably received in locking recesses in the slide to removably lock the barrel and slide together. A trigger is slideably mounted to the frame for movement parallel to the longitudinal axis of the barrel for pivoting a sear lever engagable with a biased striker and moving a safety from an interfering position relative to the striker.

摘要： A semi-automatic double action firearm including a frame having a hand grip positioned to be grasped when the firearm is fired, a barrel fixed to the frame, and a firing pin adapted for axial movement within a slide member slidably mounted on the frame surrounding the barrel. Resilient means positioned between the frame and the slide member and between the slide member and the firing pin, respectively, urge both the slide member and the firing pin in the direction of the muzzle, the latter exerting a greater force than the former. A trigger bar articulated to the trigger is adapted to engage the firing pin and move it rearwardly when the trigger is pulled, and to release it when the trigger reaches a predetermined position. A lever pivotably mounted at the rear of the hand grip is engaged by the user''s hand and restrains the rearward motion of the slide member on the frame against the pull of the trigger. After firing, the firearm''s recoil enhances the restraining force exerted by the lever until the high pressure propellant gases are discharged from the muzzle. A resilient magazine safety bar is positioned to block the movement of the trigger bar. The weapon is operable only when the safety bar is displaced by insertion of a magazine in the magazine receiver. A slide lock bar locks the slide in its open position on the frame when the last cartridge in the magazine is fired. The slide lock bar is designed additionally to minimize the ''''play'''' between the slide member and the frame, thereby enhancing the sighting accuracy of the weapon.

摘要： A handgun comprises a frame, a trigger mounted on the frame for movement between a rest position and a depressed position, a firing pin movable along a firing path between a cocked condition remote from a cartridge chamber and a fire condition proximate the cartridge chamber for firing a cartridge, and a biasing member for biasing the firing pin toward the fire condition. A transmission member is disposed between the trigger and the firing pin, via the firing path, and is responsive to depression of the trigger to displace the firing pin against the bias of the biasing member toward the cocked condition. A deflecting element deflects the transmission member out of the firing path of the firing pin to release the firing pin from the cocked condition and allow the firing pin to be propelled by the biasing member to the fire condition to fire the cartridge.

摘要： In a hammerless automatic pistol with double-action and single-action functions there are provided between the trigger arm and firing pin of the trigger mechanism a catch pawl for the firing pin and a support lever that maintains the catch pawl in the catch position. During double-action operation, both of these intermediate components are disengaged but they are engaged for single-action function. The engagement and disengagement of these intermediate components is performed automatically during the shooting cycle. By merely removing one or both of these intermediate components the automatic pistol can be modified for double-action only trigger function, in which the firing pin is simultaneously cocked and released for firing during each shot by actuating the trigger.

摘要： A pistol has a trigger 18 pivotal between a forward rest and a rearward depressed condition. It has a firing pin assembly 60 incorporating a firing pin 68 and a transverse nose 74. The assembly 60 is translational parallel to a barrel. When in rearward, cocked condition as illustrated, a firing pin 76 is compressed to propel it forward when released. A transmission member 50 is pivoted at a fore end to the trigger 18 and is guided for displacement along a cocking path. The nose 74 extends into the cocking path. Depression of the trigger displaces the member 50 along the cocking path. The member 50 abuts the nose 74 and cocks the assembly 60. The invention provides a pivot member 64 which hooks onto the member 50 and deflects it out of its cocking path to release the nose when the assembly 60 is cocked. A resetting formation 96 is provided on a movable slide 14 to reverse pivot the pivot member 64 to disengage it from the member 50 when a cartridge has been fired.
