    摘要： A system is provided for performing measurements in a modular application environment. The system comprises a digital measurement data recorder adapted to create raw digital data with respect to a measurement. The system further comprises at least two modular applications, adapted to perform at least two different data processing schemes, where one comprises a measurement unit module and the other comprises an application unit module. In this context, the measurement unit module is adapted to capture or process the raw digital data from the digital measurement data recorder. Moreover, the application unit module is adapted to process raw digital data and/or measurement results from the digital measurement data recorder into a user interface.

    摘要： An event stacker and display device for encoding a multiplicity of event nals into a single output source. The system uses an operational amplifier having three inputs weighted in a "four, two, one" octal fashion. The output of the amplifier is therefore restricted to one of eight possible levels. An optical isolator is also used in the system in conjunction with a Darlington amplifier and a light emitting diode (LED) display device. The optical isolator provides isolation between test equipment and other instrumentation. The Darlington amplifier provides sufficient current to drive the LED display device and the event stacker.

    摘要： A method for simultaneously timing multiple entities uses a timekeeping device. During timing, each of the multiple entities runs through a process starting with a start time event in a start phase followed by at least one subsequent time event in a run phase. The method comprises the following steps. In the start phase, when a first start time event occurs, a first actuator is manually actuated and the manual actuation triggers the measuring and recording of a first start time by a time measuring means. In the run phase following the start phase, when a subsequent time event occurs, the first actuator is manually actuated and the manual actuation triggers the measuring and recording of a subsequent time by the time measuring means. The timekeeping device also includes an assignment means and a second actuator.

    摘要： A multi-colored recording apparatus comprising a carriage disposed to be movable in the width direction and having a single wire hammer, a ribbon cassette having a plurality of different colored ribbons extending an effective width of the recording sheet, a driving mechanism for causing the ribbon cassette to rotate and bring one colored ribbon in position between the hammer and recording sheet for effecting recording and move the cassette away from the recording sheet after recording, wherein the recorded data is advantageously readily read without interference of the cassette with the reading, and display for displaying a bar graph for the analog signals as represented by the different colored ribbons, wherein the use of only a single hammer with the movable cassette containing the different colored ribbons extending the effective width of the recording sheet provides a compact and light apparatus.
