    摘要: A method is disclosed including providing a process fluid that can be described as having a plurality of components where each of the plurality of components has a respective mass fraction. In addition, the method includes providing an initial estimate of a compositional description for the plurality of components of the process fluid, measuring an ultrasonic sound speed of the process fluid, predicting a predicted sound speed of a liquid phase of the process fluid using an equation of state model, generating an error function using the ultrasonic sound speed of the process fluid and the predicted sound speed of a liquid phase of the process fluid, minimizing the error function and updating the respective mass fractions of the plurality of components and determining an optimized compositional description of the process fluid. Also disclosed are corresponding computer systems, apparatus, and computer programs configured to perform the actions of the methods.

At least a first and a second ultrasonic transducer are positioned on a first side of the central recess and at least a third and a fourth ultrasonic transducer are positioned on a second side of the central recess wherein the first side and the second side are opposite to each other; and the first and the second ultrasonic transducer are aligned in a way that the first and/or the second ultrasonic transducer can emit a measuring signal oblique to the flow direction of a fluid in the tube.

    摘要: Provided is an ultrasonic flow sensor with improved practicality. An ultrasonic wave is transmitted and received by an ultrasonic element. A first flow rate value of a fluid in a pipe is calculated based on a propagation time difference of an ultrasonic signal, a measurement value corresponding to an ultrasonic velocity, and a parameter for identifying an inner diameter of the pipe. A second flow rate value of the fluid in the pipe is calculated based on a frequency shift of the ultrasonic signal and the parameter. The first flow rate value is calculated using a propagation time of the ultrasonic signal as the measurement value in accordance with a correspondence relationship among a distance of a path through which the ultrasonic wave propagates through the fluid in the pipe, a time for which the ultrasonic signal propagates in the path, and the ultrasonic velocity.

    摘要: A throughflow measurement system for measuring a fluid throughflow through a pipe includes a first measurement arrangement having at least two ultrasonic transducers and that is configured to determine a value for the fluid throughflow through the pipe on the basis of transit times of ultrasonic signals transmitted and received with and against the flow. A second measurement arrangement includes a plurality of hot-wire sensors that are arranged distributed over the cross-section of the pipe and that are each configured to determine a local flow value. An evaluation device is in signal connection with the first measurement arrangement and the second measurement arrangement and is configured to determine a flow profile on the basis of the local flow values determined by the hot-wire sensors and to modify the value for the fluid throughflow, which is determined by the first measurement arrangement, on the basis of the determined flow profile.
