摘要: A dispensing device (1) includes a first chamber (4) that is longitudinally movable in a second chamber (5) and has an outer surface sealingly contacting an inner surface of the second chamber (5). An intermediate valve (3) is positioned between an interior part of the first chamber (4) and an interior part of the second chamber (5). The intermediate valve (3) includes a valve seat plate (7) having at least one opening (8) and a valve flapper plate (9) having at least one flap (10) for covering the at least one opening (8) in the valve seat plate (7). The at least one flap (10) moves to an open position allowing the liquid product to flow from the interior space of first chamber (4) to the interior space of the second chamber (5) when the first chamber (4) is moved in a first longitudinal direction and moves to a closed position limiting flow of the liquid product when the first chamber (4) is moved in an opposite second longitudinal direction.

摘要: A metering head for a liquid dispenser with a discharge opening for dispensing liquid from an interior of the metering head into an environment, a metering body and a metering channel within which the metering body is arranged movably between a closed position and an open position. The metering body is designed as a float and is adapted to the metering channel such that, during the movement in the direction of the closed position, liquid flowing to the discharge opening flows around it at least in phases. The metering body is adapted to the discharge opening such that, in its closed position, it closes the discharge opening off from the metering channel. The metering head also includes a ventilation channel separate from the discharge opening and having an inlet valve that opens when there is an underpressure in the metering channel in relation to the environment.

摘要: Disclosed is a fastener container to provide fasteners to a fastener feeder for use in fastener driving operations. The fastener container may comprise a fastener housing and a rotating fastener mechanism. The fastener housing may include a plurality of fastener chambers, wherein each of the fastener chambers is configured to hold a plurality of fasteners. The rotating fastener mechanism may be located within the fastener housing and may include a plurality of bins. Each bin may be configured to receive fasteners from an adjacent fastener chamber of the fastener housing. The rotating fastener mechanism may be rotatable, such that, when a rotation occurs, a first bin drops fasteners to the fastener feeder and a second bin receives fasteners from an adjacent fastener chamber of the fastener housing.

摘要: A device for dispensing a metered amount of powdered, granular liquid or related fluent materials and a method of dispensing a fluent material such that a release of excess material beyond the metered amount is inhibited. The dispenser includes a sealing arrangement to effect such inhibiting, as well as to reduce moisture-based contamination of the material stored within the dispenser. Optional features may include various seal configurations and numbers, removable top and bottom caps that both may have a locking mechanism. The dispenser may be configured as a disposable hand-held device such that, after depletion of the fluent material contents arising out of a multiplicity of uses, it can be thrown away.

摘要: A cellular wheel sluice has a housing, a feed shaft opening therein and an outlet shaft opening out therefrom. Arranged between the shafts is a cellular wheel. The latter is arranged so as to be rotatably drivable about a horizontal rotational axis in a cylindrical cellular wheel housing portion. A cellular wheel drive shaft non-rotatably connected to the cellular wheel is rotatably mounted in the housing. A pressure drop is applied during operation of the cellular wheel sluice, a higher pressure being present in the feed shaft than in the outlet shaft. The cellular wheel is operated during the product conveyance between the feed shaft and the outlet shaft at a rotational speed in such a way that an outer periphery of the cellular wheel reaches a speed that is greater than 0.6 m/s.
