摘要: Thermal camera assembly (1) comprising a thermal imaging detector (3) providing thermographic images and/or recordings, a protective casing (2) which houses the thermal imaging detector and includes a window (5) with a transparent screen (6), one or more sensors (15;16;20;32;33) arranged in the protective casing and providing signals indicative of a physical quantity or a state, one or more actuators (8;22;28) arranged in the protective casing, and a control unit (9) which is integrated in the protective casing. The control unit is directly connected to the thermal imaging detector to receive the thermographic images and/or recordings and transmit them to the outside, to the sensors to receive the relative signals, and to the actuators to control the latter according to the signals received. The control unit is able to manage and control the communication between all the components of the thermal camera and the outside. The thermal camera assembly is part of a control system for controlling an industrial production process and is used in a relative control method.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a detection device includes steps of: producing thermal detectors distributed in a detection array and a compensation array using mineral sacrificial layers; producing an encapsulation structure comprising a thin opaque layer extending above the compensation array; partially removing the mineral sacrificial layers by chemical etching, so as to release the detection array and the compensation array, and to obtain the peripheral wall then formed of a non-etched portion of the mineral sacrificial layers and surrounding the compensation array, the thin opaque layer then being suspended above the compensation array and resting on the peripheral wall.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a housing and a first process cartridge. The first process cartridge is attachable to and detachable from the housing. The first process cartridge includes a first photosensitive drum, a first developing roller, and a developing frame. The developing frame has a toner inlet opening. A toner cartridge has a toner supply opening. The toner cartridge is positioned above the developing frame such that the toner supply opening and the toner inlet opening face with each other in upward/downward direction. In the state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is attached to the housing, the toner cartridge is incapable of being detached from the first process cartridge. In a state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is detached from the housing, the toner cartridge is detachable from the first process cartridge.

摘要: The disclosed MMW wave sensing camera calibration arrangement that generally includes a millimeter wave camera that uses an energy emission calibration panel as a calibration standard. The MMW camera is positioned opposite the calibration panel in the MMW camera's field-of-view. The calibration panel is held at a constant temperature to provide a standard emission of millimeter waves that is sensed by an MMW sensor to set or otherwise calibrate the MMW camera to a baseline emissivity value corresponding to the panel. The MMW camera is linked to a microprocessor and non-transient computer memory containing a calibration routine that is configured to reset the baseline only when nothing obstructs the calibration panel's field-of-view. A visual display is linked to the MMW camera and configured to display an MMW signature of a metal object that is disposed on a person's body when the person's body is in the field-of-view, the metal object concealed by clothing worn over the person's body.

摘要: A microbolometer detector for detecting electromagnetic radiation is disclosed. The microbolometer detector includes a substrate, a vacuum package, and an array of microbolometers disposed on the substrate inside the vacuum package. Each microbolometer includes a platform supported above the substrate, a thermistor disposed on the platform and having an electrical resistance that varies with its temperature, and an optical absorber including a frequency-selective surface and configured to absorb the electromagnetic radiation to generate heat and change the temperature of the thermistor. The microbolometer detector also includes a reflector disposed on the substrate under the array of microbolometers, and an optical window configured to allow the electromagnetic radiation to pass therethrough and reach the optical absorbers. The optical window is spaced apart from the reflector to form therebetween an optically resonant cavity. The resonant cavity is tuned to an absorption band of the optical absorbers.
