Abstract: In an electro-optical device, a first substrate is provided with a temperature detection element and an electro-static protection circuit that protects the temperature detection element from a surge current. A first resistor element is electrically coupled to the temperature detection element in series. The electro-static protection circuit includes a transistor electrically coupled to the first resistor element and the temperature detection element in parallel. A first capacitance element is provided on a wiring substrate electrically coupled to the first substrate, and is provided between a first coupling wiring line electrically coupled to one side of the temperature detection element and a second coupling wiring line electrically coupled to the other side thereof.

Abstract: A detection system and a wind driven generator. The detection system includes: a plurality of passive wireless sensors respectively provided at the corresponding positions to be detected, which are used for obtaining detection signals of the positions to be detected; and a leaky coaxial cable provided along the position to be detected, wherein the leaky coaxial cable can emit electromagnetic waves to drive the plurality of passive wireless sensors, and can receive the detection signal sent by the passive wireless sensors. The detection system can save installation space, as well as reduce maintenance costs since there is no need to replace a battery regularly, and when conducting multi-point measurements, costs are reduced and the number of passive wireless sensors that the system can configure is increased.

Abstract: Predictive cooking systems and methods. A representative system can include a cooking device submergible in a container of fluid and a memory device storing instructions for causing a processor to receive information and determine heater set point temperature and on time. The processor can receive information indicative of one or more characteristics of a food item to be cooked in the fluid and a desired food temperature. The processor can perform a control process that can include sending instructions for controlling a heater, obtaining a temperature measurement of the fluid from a temperature sensor, determining a measurement of power delivered to the heater, determining constants related to corresponding physical characteristics of the fluid and/or the container based on at least one of the temperature measurement and the measurement of power, and determining a food temperature of the food item.

Abstract: A cooling architecture for an integrated hydrogen-electric engine having a radiator and a hydrogen fuel cell includes a t and a manifold. The turbine is disposed in fluid communication with the hydrogen fuel cell. The turbine is configured to compress a predetermined amount of air and direct a first portion of the predetermined amount of the compressed air to the fuel cell for generating electricity that powers the integrated hydrogen-electric engine. The manifold is disposed in fluid communication with the turbine and positioned to direct a second portion of the predetermined amount of compressed air to the radiator for removing heat from the radiator.

Abstract: A monitoring system of the present disclosure has at least one voltage sensor or current sensor in a housing that is directly coupled to a bushing or a secondary side cable of a distribution transformer within an electrical grid and that detects a voltage or current in the bushing or a secondary side cable of a distribution transformer. Further, the monitoring system has at least one environmental sensor that detects information in an environment of the distribution transformer and a processor that monitors the detected information and determines if the information indicates a scenario in the environment or the electricity grid for which an alert to personnel may be warranted thereby transmitting a message to a central computing device regarding condition awareness so that remedial action may be taken by the personnel.
