摘要: A method for moisture testing of a fully assembled photovoltaic (PV) module. An assembled PV module is probed with short wave IR probe energy in the range of 1700-2000 nm. Energy reflected from the assembled PV module is collected and directed to a sensor. Noise is removed from a signal of the sensor with reference to the probe energy. Absorption is of the probe energy is determined. The absorption is correlated to moisture in the PV module. A preferred system that carries out the method provides a signal-to-noise ratio (as defined by standard deviation/mean of measured reflectance) of at least 3800.

摘要: An agricultural nutrient applicator includes a container and a nutrient distribution assembly operably coupled to the container to deliver a nutrient from the container. A spectroscopic reflectance crop sense system is provided that includes an optical window. A presentation assembly is mounted to the agricultural nutrient applicator and is configured to position live plants in a field proximate the optical window of the spectroscopic reflectance crop sense system as the agricultural nutrient applicator moves. A controller is coupled to the spectroscopic reflectance crop sense system and the nutrient distribution assembly. The controller is configured to obtain, from the spectroscopic reflectance crop sense system, information indicative of a measured nutrient level in the live plants and determine a remedial nutrient amount based on the measured nutrient level and a target nutrient level. The controller controls the nutrient distribution assembly based on the remedial amount.

摘要: An apparatus for the production of solid dosage forms is presented, wherein the apparatus comprises a material processing chamber which is operable for manufacturing a product according to a pre-set product formation process path. The apparatus has at least one sensor for continuously monitoring formation of the product in the material processing chamber during the product formation process non-invasively in real time by sensing at least one product functional attribute value and a means for comparing each sensed product functional attribute value with a desirable product functional attribute value for that point on the product formation process path. A controller controls operation of the material processing chamber in response to the sensed product functional attribute value for maintaining the product on the product formation process path.

摘要: The disclosure relates to methods and systems for the analysis of compounds in a crystalline state and/or undergoing crystallization. Two-dimensional correlation (2DCOS) and co-distribution analysis (2DCDS) analysis plots can be generated and analyzed. Asynchronous plots can aid in establishing a sequential order of events. Positive cross peaks that correlate with auto peaks associated with aggregation can be identified. The auto peaks can be referenced to quickly discern the regions of the molecule most perturbed, which would indicate a driver for the crystallization state of the molecule. One can define which functional group types (e.g., region) are most perturbed (positive, intense auto peak) and observe how the different auto peaks begin to have greatest intensity change. These changes in auto peaks in the synchronous plots for the different stages of crystallization can provide information as to the dynamics of the process from amorphous to crystalline state.

摘要: First beam source radiates a near infrared reference beam of 905 nm, in which light tends not to be absorbed in water toward a leaf of a plant. Second beam source radiates a near infrared measuring beam of 1550 nm, in which light tends to be absorbed in water toward the leaf of the plant. Threshold level setter/water content index detector calculates a water content index of one leaf as a total sum ΣLn(I905/I1550) of the reflection intensity ratio. Controller displays a graph representing a total sum of water content of the leaf and a pixel average value as a time-transition of the water content contained in the plant from the start of the measurement period on a UI screen of a monitor. Viewed from the first and second beam sources, a white reference substrate covering a back surface of the leaf is disposed on the leaf of the plant.
