摘要: A control apparatus includes a detection unit configured to detect switching between a plurality of radiation detection apparatuses, each of the plurality of radiation detection apparatuses being configured to capture a radiographic image through detection of radiation and including a plurality of receptor fields for performing automatic exposure control, an acquisition unit configured to acquire information regarding one of the plurality of radiation detection apparatuses to be used for image capturing in a case where switching to the one of the plurality of radiation detection apparatuses has been detected, and a selection unit configured to select one or more of the plurality of receptor fields of the one of the plurality of radiation detection apparatuses to be used for the image capturing based on the acquired information and information of a subject as an image capturing target and information of a part of the subject to be imaged.

摘要: An X-ray image acquisition device includes a pixel unit having M pixel arrays each including N pixel portions (N and M are integers of 2 or more), M circuit units, and a control unit. Each circuit unit includes T (T is an integer of N or more) adding sections that sequentially add electrical signals corresponding to output signals from the N pixel portions and a switch section for switching connection states between the N pixel portions and the T adding sections. The control unit switches the connection states in synchronization with the transportation of an object along a first direction so that the electrical signals corresponding to the output signals output from the pixel portions by detecting X-rays transmitted through the same region of the object are added by the same adding sections.

摘要: A system can have an x-ray source that generates a series of individual x-ray pulses for multi-energy imaging. A first x-ray pulse can have a first energy level and a subsequent second x-ray pulse in the series can have a second energy level different from the first energy level. An x-ray imager can receive the x-rays from the x-ray source and can detect the received x-rays for image generation. A generator interface box (GIB) controls the x-ray source to provide the series of individual x-ray pulses and synchronizes detection by the x-ray imager with generation of the individual x-ray pulses. The GIB can control x-ray pulse generation and synchronization to optimize image generation while minimizing unnecessary x-ray irradiation.

摘要: A method and system for performing characterization of one or more materials. The one or more materials are scanned by means of a sensory unit including an x-ray sensor for obtaining at least one x-ray image. Segmentation of the at least one x-ray image is performed in order to separate one or more distinct objects in the at least one x-ray image. In the at least one x-ray image, segmented objects are selected. For each of the selected segmented objects in the at least one x-ray image, a transformation using a transformatio n model is computed, wherein each transformation is indicative of a three dimensional reconstruction of the respective selected segmented object in the at least one x-ray image. The selected segmented objects are characterized based upon its computed transformation.
