Abstract: The monitoring breathalyzer has an alcohol sensor, a processing unit or processor, and a screen. The processing unit determines the accuracy of the breathalyzer using the user's body as a simulator. In monitoring mode, the processing unit receives a BAC measurement from the alcohol sensor based on the breath sample provided by the user at a sample time and determines a reference point from the BAC measurement. The sample time is determined based on a time to a predetermined calibration point from a drink start time.

Abstract: Using scent fingerprints and sound fingerprints for location and proximity determinations can include detecting a movement of a user device relative to an environment, and determining if a fingerprint associated with the user device and the environment is available. The fingerprint can include a sound fingerprint, a scent fingerprint, and usage data defining resource usage of the user device at the environment, The fingerprint associated with the user device and the environment can be obtained with an instance of sensor data including a scent detected at the user device and a sound detected at the user device. Based on the instance of sensor data and the fingerprint associated with the user device and the environment, a location and proximity of the user device can be determined.

Abstract: A method examines a disease or health condition based on a biomarker in a biological sample. The method includes extracting the biomarker from the biological sample, ionizing the extracted biomarker, obtaining a three dimensional profile by passing the ionized biomarker between two electrodes and providing the two electrodes with a plurality of electrical signals, and discriminating a predetermined disease using a discriminator obtained by learning the three-dimensional profile and a type of disease in association with each other. The discriminator is a model combining convolutional and recurrent neural networks. The three dimensional profile records current values for each combination of a dispersion field, a compensation voltage, and the type of ion. The discriminator has an interlayer transition that applies the convolutional neural network to a dimension of the compensation voltage and applies the recurrent neural network to a dimension of the dispersion field.
