摘要: The present invention relates to a nanowire-based immunofluorescence kit for detecting a SARS coronavirus 2 antibody, and a use thereof, and more specifically, to a zinc oxide nanowire-based immunofluorescence kit for detecting a SARS coronavirus 2 antibody, and a use thereof, the kit comprising a step of growing nanowires on a substrate, introducing a functional group on the grown nanowires, and fixing a SARS coronavirus 2 antigen. The nanowire array of the present invention has enhanced detection sensitivity to enable more accurate diagnosis of whether or not a SARS coronavirus 2 antibody is produced.

摘要: A method of making at least one nanocomposite for surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) detection of a target of interest includes forming at least one gold nanorod; coating a silver layer on an outer surface of the gold nanorod; assembling a Raman reporter molecule layer on the coated silver layer, wherein the Raman reporter molecule layer comprises Raman reporter molecules that are detectable by the SERS; coating a thiolated polyethylene glycol (PEG) layer on the assembled Raman reporter molecule layer; and conjugating the coated thiolated PEG layer with molecules of an antibody to make the at least one nanocomposite.

摘要: The present invention relates to nanostructure-binding partner conjugates, as well as reaction mixtures, analyte detection devices, and methods of making and using the conjugates. In particular, the invention provides a method of detecting a target analyte in a sample comprising mixing the sample with a first detection conjugate and a second detection conjugate in solution, wherein the first and second detection conjugates comprise metallic nanostructures coupled to binding partners that are capable of specifically binding to the target analyte if present in the sample to form a complex between the first detection conjugate, the analyte, and the second detection conjugate, wherein a change in an optical signal upon complex formation indicates the presence of the target analyte in the sample.

摘要: Ultra near-field index modulated plasmonic nano-aperture label-free imaging methods and techniques are useful for imaging and detection of biological microparticles and nanoparticles such as circulating tumor exosomes (CTEs), bacteria and vimses. The methods and techniques utilize a high-density array of gold, silver, or gold/silver alloy nanodisks, in some cases on an undercut or invisible substrate. Given the relatively large nanodisk dimensions, the nanodisk array may feature a significantly blue-shifted LSPR extinction peak due to both far-field plasmonic coupling and substrate undercut. The ultra near-field imaging methods have the ability to image nanoparticles as small as 25 nm.

摘要: In one aspect, the disclosure relates to test strips for detecting and/or monitoring the treatment of a disease in a subject. The test strips are inexpensive and disposable and can be used directly with clinical biological samples from patients including, but not limited to, blood, plasma, saliva, and urine. Also disclosed are methods of using the test strips to quantify antigens produced by a virus or microorganism causing an infectious disease. The methods can be conducted at a point of care for a patient and do not require expensive equipment or extensive operator training. The methods are also rapid to complete and can be used to monitor progress in the treatment of a disease This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
