    摘要: A clamp meter includes a meter body and a clamp jaw assembly mounted to the meter body. The clamp jaw assembly includes a first clamp jaw and a second clamp jaw that are movable in relation to each other between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, distal ends of the first and second clamp jaws meet to define an enclosed area between the first and second clamp jaws, and in the open position, the distal ends of the first and second clamp jaws separate from each other to define a gap allowing a wire under test to pass therethrough. The clamp meter further includes a locking slider positioned within a slot inside the meter body. A switch assembly moves the locking slider longitudinally within the slot between locked and unlocked positions. In the locked position, the locking slider blocks the first clamp jaw from movement.

    摘要: A multimeter with filtered measurement mode is disclosed. The multimeter includes a signal conditioning circuit, a low-pass filter, a microprocessor, a measurement circuit, a root-mean-square (RMS) converter, a display unit, and an external rotary switch. The signal conditioning circuit receives a control signal to select an operation mode of the multimeter. The low-pass filter is electrically connected to the signal conditioning circuit. The microprocessor is electrically connected to the signal conditioning circuit. The measurement circuit is electrically connected to the microprocessor and the RMS converter to measure a signal outputted from the RMS converter. The display unit is electrically connected to the microprocessor and the measurement circuit. Also, the external rotary switch is optionally connected to the microprocessor. Whereby rotating the external rotary switch to generate the control signal and perform a low-pass filtering mode to communicate the low-pass filter with the RMS converter.

    摘要: A multimeter for testing a plurality of electrical parameters comprises a case having a plurality of test lead jacks. Each of the test lead jacks includes a unitary conductive socket. Preferably, the sockets are made of metal such as brass. A circuit board located in the case has jack conductors in electrical communication with each of the sockets. A jack detection arrangement is adapted to automatically determine whether a plug is inserted into a respective one of the sockets based on a change in electrical characteristics. For example, the jack detection arrangement may include a photonic emitter and a photonic detector situated such that a beam path therebetween is interrupted by insertion of a plug. The case may further have a rotary selector knob for selecting a multimeter function.

The interface module includes a probe identification module configured for connection to an identification bus, a probe detect module configured for connection to a detect-control bus, a power control module configured for connection to the detect-control bus, a control and data module configured for connection to a control-data bus, and multiple connectors. Each connector has an associated hot swap circuit. For each connector, if the probe detect module detects connection of that connector to a test probe via connection of that connector to the probe detect module, the probe identification module is configured to enable transfer of an identification label identifying that test probe to that test probe via that connector and the control and data module is configured to enable transfer of control instructions and data between the control-data bus and the test probe via connection of the control and data module to that connector.
