摘要: A method for measuring a battery reserve capacity of a storage battery is applied to a battery detection device which is electrically connected to the storage battery by a Kelvin connector. The method includes: sending an input signal to a storage battery to control the discharging of the storage battery, and acquiring an output signal which is fed back, within an input duration of the input signal, by the storage battery regarding the input signal; determining a target battery parameter according to the output signal; acquiring a battery capacity table, wherein the battery capacity table includes a correlation between a battery parameter and a battery reserve capacity; and according to the battery capacity table and the target battery parameter, determining a battery reserve capacity corresponding to the target battery parameter. The measurement time for a battery reserve capacity of a storage battery is reduced, and the measurement efficiency is improved.

摘要: A semiconductor device that is of a face-down mounted chip-size package type, discharges electric charges stored in an electric storage device (battery), and has a power loss area ratio of at least 0.4 (W/mm2) obtained by dividing a power loss (W) in the semiconductor device at time of the discharge by an area (mm2) of the semiconductor device, the semiconductor device comprising: a field-effect transistor of a horizontal type and a resistor that are connected in series in stated order between an inflow terminal and an outflow terminal; and a control circuit that causes a discharge current to be constant without depending on an applied voltage between the inflow terminal and the outflow terminal. A difference between a maximum temperature of a field-effect transistor portion and a temperature of a resistor portion is within five degrees Celsius in a discharge period.

A forcing function source is configured to apply a forcing function signal to the storage battery through the Kelvin connection. A sensor is electrically coupled to the storage battery and configured to sense an electrical response of the storage battery to the applied forcing function signal. A tire tread gauge is arranged to be inserted into a tread of a tire. The tire tread gauge including a visual indicator. An image capture device is configured to capture an image of the tire tread gauge when the tire tread gauge is inserted into the tread of the tire.

摘要: In a DC impedance measurement routine for a battery the current load from a source is initially set to a low setting. The system waits for a set time in this state for the voltage readings to stabilize. Once the voltage is stable at the low current setting, the current setting is changed to a high value and the voltage is read quickly. Then the current load is set back to the low setting immediately after the reading is made. Several consecutive measurements are performed by repeating the steps above. A DC impedance measurement system that can be used to carry out the measurement routine. A multi-battery system can be monitored via a DC impedance measurement system and the routine being performed on each battery.

摘要: Described is a battery de-passivation circuit that generally comprises a battery having a de-passivation circuit attached across its positive and negative terminals. The de-passivation circuit includes a switch that can open or close the de-passivation circuit, a resistor that can regulate the amount of current drawn from the battery and a clock and timer controller system that controls the switch. The controller system controls closing the circuit long enough to bring the passivation level build-up within the battery to an acceptable lower level and controls opening the circuit long enough to allow passivation levels to build-up to an acceptable upper level.

摘要: A jig pressing-type pressing short-circuiting inspection method includes the steps of: pre-aging battery cells, each of which is manufactured by inserting an electrode assembly in a battery container, injecting an electrolyte into the battery container, and sealing the battery container. The method includes inserting the plurality of battery cells in an active jig; pressing the active jig; and inspecting electric current of the battery cells. The inspection method permits detection of a low-voltage defect of a battery cell in a pre-aging state, which shows a high voltage regulation per capacity, thus greatly reducing the inspection time, and enabling simultaneous inspection of a plurality of battery cells. In addition, a micro-defect occurring in a stack-folding type battery cell can be accurately detected, which is difficult to be detected by the conventional inspection method.

摘要: An apparatus, a method and a battery pack for detecting a fault of at least one of first and second electrical conductors connected to a positive terminal and a negative terminal of the battery, respectively. The apparatus includes a current sensor measuring a battery current, a voltage sensor measuring a voltage between the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor as a battery voltage, and a control unit. The control unit determines an idle voltage value indicating the battery voltage measured while charging and discharging of the battery is stopped. The control unit determines a diagnosis voltage value indicating the battery voltage measured while the battery is being charged or discharged. The control unit determines whether at least one of the first and second electrical conductors is faulty based on a difference between the idle voltage value and the diagnosis voltage value.
