摘要: According to the embodiments described herein, system and methods for determining relative pose of materials handling vehicles in an industrial environment may include utilizing ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna array systems respectively mounted on the materials handling vehicles to send mutually received information to determine the relative pose between the vehicles, determining one or more fields of each materials handling vehicle, and determining one or more overlapping fields between the materials handling vehicles based on the determined one or more fields and the relative pose. A vehicle control may be implemented based on the determined relative pose and the overlapping fields as a field enforcement, such as a control action to avoid collision between the vehicles.

摘要: Examples of systems and methods for locating movable objects such as carts (e.g., shopping carts) are disclosed. Such systems and methods can use dead reckoning techniques to estimate the current position of the movable object. Various techniques for improving accuracy of position estimates are disclosed, including compensation for various error sources involving the use of magnetometer and accelerometer, and using vibration analysis to derive wheel rotation rates. Also disclosed are various techniques to utilize characteristics of the operating environment in conjunction with or in lieu of dead reckoning techniques, including characteristic of environment such as ground texture, availability of signals from radio frequency (RF) transmitters including precision fix sources. Such systems and methods can be applied in both indoor and outdoor settings and in retail or warehouse settings.

The communication unit that wirelessly communicates with a search-target wireless tag using the antenna. The determination unit is configured to determine a relative position of the wireless tag with respect to the antenna based on a state of communication between the communication unit and the search-target wireless tag. The imaging unit that obtains an image of an imaging range defined as a direction of orientation of the antenna. The display unit is configured to display a screen on which a guide image for bringing the antenna close to the position determined by the determination unit is superimposed on the image obtained by the imaging unit.

摘要: A geolocationing system and method for providing awareness in a multi-space environment, such as a hospitality environment or educational environment, are presented. In one embodiment of the geolocationing system, a vertical and horizontal array of gateway devices is provided. Each gateway device includes a gateway device identification providing an accurately-known fixed location within the multi-space environment. Each gateway device includes a wireless transceiver that receives a beacon signal from a proximate wireless-enabled personal locator device. The gateway devices, in turn, send gateway signals to a server, which determines estimated location of the wireless-enabled personal location device with angle of arrival modeling.

摘要: Techniques for jointly estimating geolocations of a plurality of emitting targets. An example method includes acquiring a plurality of bearing measurements, establishing a search grid based on the bearing measurements, performing a joint maximum likelihood optimization procedure on the bearing measurements over the search grid to produce an estimated geolocation solution by solving a nonlinear multi-target geolocation description function for all targets associated with a current rank, repeating the joint maximum likelihood optimization procedure set successive ranks until a maximum rank is reached, evaluating the estimated geolocation solution sets for each rank to determine a number of targets, based on the number of targets, selecting the corresponding geolocation solution set for the rank corresponding to the number of targets, and processing the selected corresponding geolocation solution set to produce a geolocation result that includes an estimated location of each target.

摘要: A first network node may receive a first set of sounding reference signals (SRSs) and a second set of SRSs from a wireless device. The first network node may measure the first set of SRSs and the second set of SRSs. The first network node may calculate a set of displacement radio frequency fingerprint (RFFP) measurements based on the measured first set of SRSs and measured second set of SRSs. The first network node may output the set of displacement RFFP measurements to a positioning model by locally calculating the set of displacement information using the positioning model based on the set of displacement RFFP measurements or by transmitting the set of displacement RFFP measurements to a second network node to calculate a set of displacement information using the positioning model.
