Abstract: A signal sending method, a signal receiving method, and corresponding apparatuses are provided, and are used for self-driving or assisted driving. In a signal transmission phase, a radar may transmit a signal by using a designed waveform, for example, generate a first frequency modulated continuous wave sequence, and transmit the first frequency modulated continuous wave sequence, where the first frequency modulated continuous wave sequence includes N frequency modulated continuous waves, N is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and a product of a time domain position and a corresponding frequency domain position in a first frequency modulated continuous wave in the N frequency modulated continuous waves meets a first condition.

An example set of processor-executable instructions includes instructions for configuring each of a plurality of transmitters to transmit each chirp of a set of chirps with a specific spin frequency that is different for each transmitter, in which the specific spin frequency is a function of an index value identifying the corresponding transmitter, and a number of the plurality of transmitters; and determining, in a frequency domain, a Doppler representation based on reflected signals that are reflected from one or more objects contacted by one or more chirps of the transmitted sets of chirps, in which the Doppler representation includes multiple spectrum bands including one or more empty spectrum bands determined by the specific spin frequency function, wherein none of the object(s) appear(s) in any of the empty spectrum band(s).

Full, partial or no overlap between resources for uplink, downlink or sidelink communication and resources for radar sensing may be configured. Frequency configuration for radar sensing may be in absolute units or grid units, and waveforms other than OFDM may be used for radar sensing. Configuration may be initiated by a base station in response to explicit or implicit request by a UE for sensing resources. A UE may sense resources within a configured resource pool for availability before using the resources for radar sensing.

Abstract: A frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar device and a signal processing method thereof are provided. The frequency modulated continuous wave radar device includes a transmitter stage circuit, a frequency synthesizer, a receiver stage circuit, a pre-stage circuit, and a signal processing circuit. The transmitter stage circuit transmits a transmitting signal. The frequency synthesizer generates the transmitting signal associated with a chirp period. The receiver stage circuit receives a receiving signal including a periodic interference signal with a noise period associated with the chirp period. The pre-stage circuit outputs a to-be-processed signal including multiple frames according to the receiving signal and the transmitting signal. The signal processing circuit groups the frames into multiple frame groups. The signal processing circuit generates a processed signal by sampling at least one frame from the multiple frames in each of the frame groups with an identical sampling rule.
