摘要: Systems and methods are discussed to image lithological data within the strata beneath the earth surface, including a subterranean object detection system. The system may further comprise a pipeline operable to conduct a working fluid and an instrumented pig operable to travel within the pipeline and operable to image lithological strata and voids within the strata beneath and around the pipeline. The instrumented pig may comprise an outer case, a battery coupled to the outer case, a ground imaging unit operable to send a signal to image the lithological strata and voids within the strata beneath and around the pipeline and may be operable to receive a reflected signal indicating lithology data, wherein the ground imaging unit may be operably coupled to the battery.

摘要: The application describes a security inspection apparatus and a method of controlling the same. An example security inspection apparatus includes a body fixed in the field and an electromagnetic imaging device installed on the body. The electromagnetic imaging device includes a two-dimensional multi-input multi-output array panel, including at least one two-dimensional multi-input multi-output sub-array and a control circuit. Each two-dimensional multi-input multi-output sub-array includes transmitting antennas and receiving antennas, with the transmitting antennas and the transmitting antennas being arranged such that equivalent phase centers are arranged in a two-dimensional array. The electromagnetic imaging device further includes a signal processing device configured to reconstruct an image of an inspected object based on an echo signal received and a display device configured to display the reconstructed image of the inspected object.

The detector comprises a short-range sensing element (122) and a long-range sensing element (123) for detecting a metal and/or unauthorized object up to a maximal distance (1231) greater than the maximal distance of the short-range sensing element.

摘要: A radiofrequency detection and acquisition system, which is based on SQUID and configured to be integrated into a nuclear magnetic resonance system, comprises a primary detection antenna, a flux transformer having an inlet winding connected to the primary detection antenna, a low critical temperature SQUID device for capturing the magnetic flux produced by an outlet winding of the flux transformer and supplying a secondary detection signal, a cryogenic device for cooling the SQUID device and the flux transformer, and means for processing the secondary detection signal emitted by the SQUID device to supply an analogue acquisition signal. The primary detection antenna may be of the volume type, comprising Helmholtz coils or saddle coils, or a more complex volume geometry, particularly gradiometric geometry. The means for processing the secondary detection signal may comprise a flux-locked loop, provided to linearize the response of the SQUID device.
