摘要: The embodiments of the Floatable Support for Metal Detection are comprised of a circular or oval support, a screen, and a pair of skids. The circular or oval support comprises a tube or cylinder formed from durable and highly puncture resistant polymeric material. The detection signal acquisition unit 31 acquires a detection signal that changes according to the detection strength for a rebar W1 contained in concrete W, on the surface of the concrete W. The threshold value setting and updating unit 32 sets a threshold value in order to determine the presence or absence of the rebar W1 on the basis of the maximum value and/or the minimum value included in the acquisition results for the detection signal acquired by the detection signal acquisition unit 31. The determination unit 33 determines the presence or absence of the rebar W1 by using the threshold value set in the threshold value setting and updating unit 32.

摘要: A printed circuit card assembly (PCBA) configured for retrofitting a conventional electromagnetic locator device (ELD) for a simulator system includes a printed circuit board (PCB) having data connectors connected via a switch to the ELD, a low-power radio frequency (RF) receiver for receiving emulated electromagnetic (EM) field data, a processor for reading the emulated EM field data that includes constituent parts, wherein each constituent part corresponds to EM field data for a specific one of the digital signal processor on the conventional ELD, disassembling the emulated EM field data into its constituent parts, and transmitting to the digital signal processors, via the data connectors, the constituent part of the emulated EM field data that corresponds to said digital signal processor, thereby emulating an EM field on the conventional ELD.

摘要: A solution for evaluating a medium using electrical signals is described. A plurality of electrical signals having different frequencies are transmitted through the medium and signal data corresponding to the electrical signals after having traveled through the medium is acquired. A complex impedance and a complex permittivity and/or complex conductivity can be calculated for the medium. A set of characteristics of the medium can be computed using mixing models and/or known information of the medium. A level of one or more attributes of the medium can be determined from the characteristics using nonparametric Bayesian inference. One particular application is directed to determining a nitrate level of soil.
