摘要: This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity. Pre-wired spacers improve fabrication efficiency and seal integrity of insulated glass units. Electrical connection systems include those embedded in the secondary seal of the insulated glass unit.

摘要: An optical display system includes a first display, a plurality of electronic drivers, a controller, and a combiner. Light from a scene is combined with image light from the first display, and the combined light presented to an observer. The combiner includes an electrochromic layer comprising one or more electrochromic regions disposed between the scene and the combiner. The electronic drivers are arranged to electrically connect with and drive respective of the electrochromic regions. The controller is configured to control the plurality of electronic drivers to individually address each of the electrochromic regions to selectively drive some of the electrochromic regions to change light transmission of the selectively driven electrochromic regions.

摘要: A vehicular frameless interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head and a mounting portion. The mirror head includes a mirror reflective element and a mirror casing. The mirror reflective element includes a glass substrate having a planar front side and a planar rear side. No portion of the mirror casing overlaps the planar front side of the glass substrate of the mirror reflective element. A camera is disposed within the mirror casing behind the mirror reflective element. With the mounting portion of the mirror assembly mounted at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle, the camera views a driver of the vehicle, and when the mirror head is moved by the driver to adjust a rearward view of the driver, the camera moves in tandem with movement of the mirror head. The camera is part of a driver monitoring system of the vehicle.

摘要: Various embodiments herein relate to power distribution networks for optically switchable windows. In some embodiments, a system for monitoring and maintaining a power distribution network of optically switchable windows of a site is provided. The system includes a control panel monitor which is configured to determine a control panel voltage and current at a terminal of a control panel. The system further includes sense circuitry which is configured to determine a first window controller voltage and current for a first window controller of a plurality of window controllers. The system further includes one or more controllers which are configured to generate voltage network data based on a combination of the control panel voltage and current and the first window controller voltage and current. The system then determines an error condition in the power distribution network based on the voltage network data.

摘要: A display panel and a display apparatus are described. In an embodiment, the display panel includes a substrate and a sub-pixel group located at a side of the substrate. In an embodiment, the sub-pixel group includes sub-pixels of at least two different colors and a light-limiting structure. In an embodiment, the sub-pixels share one light-emitting element. In an embodiment, along a direction perpendicular to the substrate, the light-limiting structure overlaps with the light-emitting element and is located at a light exit side of the light-emitting element. In an embodiment, when the display panel displays an image, the sub-pixels in the sub-pixel group are enabled in sequence. In an embodiment, the when one of the sub-pixels is enabled, the light-limiting structure causes light emitted by the light-emitting element to exit only from the enabled sub-pixel.

摘要: Provided are a gear switching control method and apparatus for an electrochromic device and an electrochromic device. The method includes steps described below. During a process of switching from an initial gear before gear switching to an initial target gear, a gear characterization parameter state of the electrochromic device is acquired, and when a new gear switching signal carrying target gear information is received, a new target gear is acquired and a current charging operation or a current discharging operation is interrupted. A charging direction or a discharging direction after the interruption operation and a corresponding gear characterization parameter adjustment value are determined according to the gear characterization parameter state when the interruption operation is performed and a gear characterization parameter corresponding to the initial gear and a gear characterization parameter corresponding to the new target gear.
