In one embodiment, a depth sensing device for use in conjunction with multiple depth sensing devices for capturing an image containing depth information of an object comprises a near-infrared transmitter comprising a laser capable of producing a near infra-red light beam, a diffractive optical element positioned to receive a light beam emitted from the laser, the diffractive optical element, a collimating lens, and a near-infrared receiver coupled to the transmitter in a relative position, the receiver comprising a sensor assembly capable of producing an image of the received light, the depth sensing device being configured to transmit and receive near infra-red light beams during a time period that is different than any of the other of two or more transmitter-receiver pairs of devices in communication with the depth sensing device.

摘要: A method of producing a lenticular printed material includes: an ink jetting step of jetting an aqueous ink, containing a colorant, resin particles, water and a water-soluble high boiling point solvent, onto an ink receiving layer of a lenticular sheet including a resin layer, a lens layer disposed at one surface side of the resin layer, and the ink receiving layer, which is disposed at the other surface side of the resin layer, which contains particles and a resin, and which has a porous structure and a void volume of 50% or greater, according to an ink jetting method; and a drying step of drying the aqueous ink, under conditions in which a surface temperature of the ink receiving layer is set to 30° C. or higher, to form a parallax picture.

摘要: Methods and apparatus to create and display screen stereoscopic and panoramic images are disclosed. Methods and apparatus are provided to generate multiple images that are combined into a stereoscopic or a panoramic image. An image may be a static image. It may also be a video image. A controller provides correct camera settings for different conditions. An image processor creates a stereoscopic or a panoramic image from the correct settings provided by the controller. A plurality of lens/sensor units is placed on a carrier. Lens/sensor units are rotationally aligned. A controller rotationally aligns images of lens/sensor units that are rotationally misaligned. The camera is enabled to communicate via a wired or via a wireless connection, with a separate, mobile, ultrathin, ultralight, display with a large display screen not smaller than 25 by 20 cm in a first embodiment of the present invention and not smaller than 20 by 15 cm in a second embodiment of the present invention to provide color images including video images in real-time. A compact controllable platform to hold and rotate a device with a lens/sensor unit is also provided.

The tool includes multiple reflective surfaces for generating one view of a scene whereas another view of the same scene from a slightly different location is obtained free of the reflected surfaces.
