Abstract:
A washing bath in a photographic paper processor has plural washing chambers for washing photographic paper with washing water by passage of the photographic paper. Plural cell units are coupled with one another vertically by a modular structure. Each of the cell units has one of the washing chambers. A sealing medium of silicone rubber keeps a cell connection portion between the cell units in a liquid-tight state. A blade mechanism is secured to a panel constituting the cell units, allows the photographic paper to pass between the washing chambers, and blocks passage of the washing water. A transporting rack transports the photographic paper serially to pass the washing chambers. The cell connection portion includes a connection surface, disposed to extend horizontally, and separable for removal of the cell units in the vertical direction. The sealing medium is secured to one of two cell units being coupled.
Abstract:
A waste container is received in a photographic processing machine along with a chemical supply container. The supply container is oriented at an angle to horizontal. Ports are provided into the containers with an associated snap cap oriented such that the neck extends vertically when received in the processing machine. A shipping cassette system includes two stacked upper and lower cassettes, each having a plurality of vertical walls that laterally surround an interior volume. A processing machine includes a cap opening bar and a mounting mechanism with a pivot point aligning the bar with the caps of a chemical delivery container assembly along a side of the caps opposite to the side along which the hinges are aligned such that rotation of the cap opening bar about the pivot point simultaneously opens the fluid supply ports by rotating the caps about their hinges.
Abstract:
An apparatus for washing contaminants from a coated surface of a material comprises an inclined substantially planar surface up which the material is passed, an inlet for the introduction of wash solution at the upper part of the planar surface and pressure applying means for holding the material in full contact with the surface.
Abstract:
A liquid drop, which remains at a trailing end portion of a base surface side of a sheet which has passed through a roller pair, is removed by a first liquid drop removing roller which contacts only the base surface side. A spreading roller, which spreads moisture which has moved to a surface of the first liquid drop removing roller, is pressed to tightly contact the first liquid drop removing roller. A second liquid drop removing roller contacts only an emulsion surface of the sheet, and removes a liquid drop adhering to the emulsion surface. A spreading roller is pressed to tightly contact a surface of the second liquid drop removing roller as well, and spreads moisture at the surface thereof.
Abstract:
A photo-processing apparatus having an exposing section and a developing section is disclosed. In this photo-processing apparatus a predetermined treatment of the photo-sensitive material is executed by conveying it along a conveying path through the exposing section and then through the developing section. A pair of rollers for nipping the photo-sensitive material and a drive unit for conveying the pair of rollers with the nipped photo-sensitive material along a conveying path are installed in the apparatus.
Abstract:
The improved light-sensitive material transporting device includes a belt conveyor for transporting a light-sensitive material as it is placed thereon; and an auxiliary belt conveyor that is driven in the same direction as a transport direction of the belt conveyor and which is spaced above the belt conveyor wherein a distance between the auxiliary belt conveyor and the belt conveyor decrease progressively from upstream to downstream in the transport direction of the light-sensitive material. The light-sensitive material transporting device is capable of transporting the light-sensitive material in a consistent and smooth manner while correcting the "curls" it has. In addition, by adopting the device in the distributing section which distributes individual sheets of the light sensitive material into a plurality of rows, the pathlength of the light-sensitive material can be shortened while, at the same time, the cost of the apparatus is measurably reduced.
Abstract:
A changing device for changing a conveyance direction of a photosensitive material without causing it to move in a zigzag manner is provided. The changing device includes an endless belt in contact with a lower part of the outer surface of a turn roller. A tubular elastic member is fitted in the middle of the turn roller with respect to its widthwise direction. A photosensitive material fed between the turn roller and the belt by the rotation of the turn roller and movement of the belt is conveyed in a circumferential direction of the turn roller while being tightly held between the belt 12 and the elastic member 16. The photosensitive material can have its conveyance direction changed without being caused to move in a zigzag manner by the elastic member in substantially even contact therewith over the entire width thereof.
Abstract:
Apparatus for processing photographic material has a plurality of stages for carrying out different processing steps. At least one stage has a series of processing regions each defined by an inclined surface that extends between sets of rollers. The surfaces may be of different length to provide different residence times for the material. Processing solution flows down the surfaces whilst the photographic material is driven upwards in counter-current mode. All the stages may be uni-directionally inclined end-to-end, or they may be arranged in a U-shape so as to minimize cross-contamination between the stages.
