    Abstract: A device for adjusting horological functions of a timepiece, including a mechanism for selection and actuation, including: a drive driving a driving pinion in the clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, a driven pinion driven when the driving pinion turns clockwise and anti-clockwise, the driven pinion moving into a first position by the driving pinion turning clockwise, in which the driven pinion actuates an actuator of a first horological function, and moving into a second position by the driving pinion turning anti-clockwise, in which second position, the driven pinion actuates an actuator of a second horological function, the driven pinion not actuating the actuator of the first horological function when it is in its second position, and vice versa. The mechanism for selection and actuation includes at least two driven pinions, and the adjusting device includes a control mechanism selectively bringing the driving pinion into engagement with each of the driven pinions.

In one embodiment, a method includes determining one or more musical attributes based on external data and generating music content based on the one or more musical attributes. Generating the music content may include selecting from stored sound loops or tracks and/or generating new tracks based on the musical attributes. Selected or generated sound loops or tracks may be layered to generate the music content. Musical attributes may be determined in some embodiments based on user input (e.g., indicating a desired energy level), environment information, and/or user behavior information. Artists may upload tracks, in some embodiments, and be compensated based on usage of their tracks in generating music content. In some embodiments, a method includes generating sound and/or light control information based on the musical attributes.

    Abstract: A timepiece movement includes a control unit that determines a position of an indicating hand by detecting a rotation state of a rotor, and a train wheel that transmits a drive force of a stepping motor to the indicating hand, and that has a first gear, and a second gear and a third gear which mesh with the first gear. The first gear has a reference load unit that causes fluctuations in a load applied to the rotor in each case of meshing with the second gear and the third gear. A first line segment which connects a center of the first gear and a center of the second gear to each other forms an angle smaller than 180° with a second line segment which connects the center of the first gear and a center of the third gear.

    Abstract: An input device accepts user input and generates data indicative of notes, such as MIDI data. The input device includes a set of chord keys and a set of melody keys. A desired scale is selected, and the chord keys and melody keys are configured to utilize notes associated with that scale. The chord keys may be representative of all non-inverted chords associated with that scale. Inverted chords may be accessed using other keys or key combinations. Upon activation of an individual chord key, MIDI data representative of the notes in that chord is generated. Upon activation of an individual melody key, MIDI data representative of a single note from the scale is generated. Conflicts between notes associated with activated and released keys are resolved. Keys illuminated with a color associated with a particular note facilitate user recognition of that note in the chord keys and melody keys.
