摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a first roller pair including a first roller and a second roller, a first driving unit, a second roller pair, a second driving unit, an image forming unit, and a control unit configured to execute a first mode and a second mode. The second mode includes (1) a first processing, (2) a second processing, and (3) a third processing of controlling the first driving unit such that the rotational speed of the first roller pair becomes faster than the second rotational speed. The first mode includes (1) a fourth processing, (2) a fifth processing, and (3) a sixth processing of controlling the first driving unit such that the rotational speed of the first roller pair is decelerated from the first rotational speed to equal to or less than the second rotational speed.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a roller, a heater configured to heat the roller, an endless belt, a nip forming member, a supply roller configured to supply a sheet, and a controller. The sheet is nipped between the endless belt and the roller. The endless belt is nipped between the nip forming member and the roller such that a nip portion is formed. The controller is configured to supply a plurality of first kind of sheets by the supply roller at a first interval when the plurality of first kind of sheets are sequentially conveyed and supply a plurality of second kind of sheets by the supply roller at a second interval greater than the first interval when the plurality of second kind of sheets belonging to a kind in which curl occurs more frequently than the plurality of first kind of sheets are sequentially conveyed.

摘要: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program is provided. The program is executed in a personal digital assistant to operate a recording apparatus including a recording unit that performs recording on a medium from the personal digital assistant. The program causes the personal digital assistant to display, on a display of the personal digital assistant, information on a user operation method based on an event that occurred when a medium is to be fed from back of the recording apparatus, the method being to be performed after the event occurred.

摘要: Embodiments of the disclosure provide for improved print position compensation, for example to improve accuracy of print job(s) performed by a printer. The print position compensation enables an offset of the time until printing occurs on a print media to account for changes and/or erroneous movement in a print media, such as due to slippage and/or other results of a force applied to the print media. Particular embodiments determine data values derived both for an output phase and a retraction phase of the printer's operation. Various embodiments generate a print position compensation based on sensor-based edge position distances determined during each of a media output phase and a media retraction phase. Alternatively or additionally various embodiments generate a print position compensation based on sensor-based media movement phase timestamp differentials determined during each of a media output phase and a media retraction phase.
