Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a software tool that facilitates coordination between various parties that are involved in the process of rectifying a problem identified in a combined three-dimensional model file. In one implementation, the software tool may cause a computing device to (a) receive an indication requesting creation of a coordination issue that relates to a portion of a rendered three-dimensional view of a construction project, (b) in response to the receipt of the indication, create a data set defining the coordination issue, the data set including (i) a representation of the portion of the rendered three-dimensional view, and (ii) data indicating an assignee of the coordination issue, and (c) cause an indication of the coordination issue to be presented to a client station associated with the assignee.

Abstract: A system and method for displaying images of internal anatomy includes an image processing device configured to provide high resolution images of the surgical field from low resolution scans during the procedure. The image processing device digitally manipulates a previously-obtained high resolution baseline image to produce many representative images based on permutations of movement of the baseline image. During the procedure a representative image is selected having an acceptable degree of correlation to the new low resolution image. The selected representative image and the new image are merged to provide a higher resolution image of the surgical field. The image processing device is also configured to provide interactive movement of the displayed image based on movement of the imaging device, and to permit placement of annotations on the displayed image to facilitate communication between the radiology technician and the surgeon.

Abstract: A medical collaboration system for pre-operative collaborative assessment includes an imaging center, a data center, a DICOM storage, at least one displaying means, an API and a rendering device. The data center includes a cloud storage, a user database, a DICOM converter and a web interface; the cloud storage includes a 3D medical volume storage; the imaging center is connected to the data center. The API is connected to the data center, the at least one displaying means, the rendering device and the 3D medical volume storage. The DICOM storage is connected to the DICOM converter and the DICOM storage is configured to send the 2D medical records to the DICOM converter. The DICOM converter is configured to remove confidential metadata from the 2D medical records, convert the 2D medical records into 3D medical volumes, and send the 3D medical volumes to the 3D medical volume storage for storing.

Abstract: A method of augmenting a view of a real-world environment with a view of a volumetric video object on a user device is disclosed. The method includes determining a current pose information (CPI) indicating a current pose of the view of the real-world environment and a desired pose of the volumetric video object in the real-world environment. The method further includes sending the CPI to a remote server. The method further includes receiving a rendered view of the volumetric video object that has been rendered in accordance with the CPI from the remote server. The method also includes augmenting the view of the real-world environment by at least mapping the rendered view of the volumetric video object onto a planar mapping surface arranged according to the desired position of the volumetric video object.

Abstract: Systems and methods of guiding a clinician in a medical procedure for a nodule involve receiving three-dimensional (3D) image data, generating a volumetric vector map based on the 3D image data, and displaying the volumetric vector map in a way, e.g., via a heat map, that assists a clinician in performing a medical procedure. The systems and methods involve identifying volumetric parameters of the nodule in the 3D image data, generating a voxel map based on the volumetric parameters, identifying a maximum attenuation value in the 3D space of the voxel map, applying a differential equation, e.g., a gradient, to the 3D space of the voxel map from a voxel with the maximum attenuation value to other voxels within the voxel map, and generating a volumetric vector map based on the result of applying the differential equation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating multi-view synthetic dental radiographs for intraoral tomosynthesis. In some embodiments, the method includes generating or receiving two-dimensional (2D) projection images, manipulating pixel values contained in each of the plurality of 2D projection images, reconstructing a three-dimensional (3D) image space from information available in the plurality of 2D projection images, the 3D image space comprising voxel values, manipulating the voxel values in the 3D image space using one or more tunable weighting algorithms that can be adjusted to emphasize one or more features of interest of each image in the 3D image space, generating a plurality of synthetic dental radiographs from multiple views using information available in the 3D image space, and displaying one or more of the synthetic dental radiographs. In some embodiments, the system includes a display in communication with an image processing system comprising one or more processors for performing the method.
