摘要： Systems and methods which provide continuity of system operation using relatively little or no data replication between a primary site and alternate site are shown. A user may be provided credit in an amount corresponding to their user balance for performing value operations using systems of the alternate site while systems of the primary site are unavailable. The access to value provided by systems of alternate sites of embodiments of the invention is thus not contingent upon replicating the value stored by the primary site. Although user's individual data representing value may not be accessed during a period in which systems of an alternate site are in use, embodiments of the invention are adapted to reconcile the user balance data with the users' individual data representing value for return to use of the systems of the primary site by respective users.

摘要： Provided is an apparatus for receiving an unmanned mail capable of automatically acquiring the address information even though the user does not directly input the address information. The apparatus acquires address information of an addressee by automatically recognizing the address of the mail when the address is written on the mail, and acquires the address information of the addressee through the paper on which the address is printed or written, identification, and biometric recognition when the address is not written on the mail. The apparatus may acquire the address information of the addressee through a mail sender's voice.

Various levels of payment error handling services may be provided with respect to users. Detailed information, such as statistics with respect to users' payment errors, the numbers and types of payment errors, user's preferences in handling payment errors, etcetera, may be provided.

Such configurations can advantageously decrease the time required to sort an extremely large mailing into mailing containers according to postal presort levels, among other things by performing the above steps predominantly in the internal memory of the computer system.
