The fob or phone might further provide additional guidance, such as emitting the same sound as the sign device so that the visitor knows what sound to listen for, or providing additional information.

The semiconductor device further includes a plurality of ground switches. Each ground switch is configured to connect a corresponding output pin of the plurality of output pins to ground when closed. The semiconductor device further includes a current generator that is configured to supply a test current to a given output pin of the plurality of output pins and a clamp switch that is configured to connect the given output pin to an analog-to-digital converter.

The future trajectory of the robot(s) and/or the human(s) may be forecast using, e.g., a model of human movement and other forms of control. Modeling and forecasting of the robot may, in some embodiments, make use of data provided by the robot controller that may or may not include safety guarantees.
