Abstract: A system for analyzing energy usage measures one or more parameters indicative of energy usage for a plurality of sub-circuits, where the sampling rate for the measuring is substantially continuous, and automatically transmits information related to at least one of the measured parameters at a rate that enables monitoring of current energy usage. The system further detects a significant change in a measured parameter, determines whether the significant change in the measured parameter is caused by a change in energy usage, and automatically transmits information related to the significant change in the measured parameter caused by the change in energy usage after detecting the significant change.

Abstract: A universal remote control (URC) is programmed to control a particular type and make of electronic consumer device using a graphical user interface. A plurality of images is displayed on the user-interface. Each image of the plurality of images is a digital photograph of an electronic consumer device or a remote control device usable to control the corresponding electronic consumer device. A user selects the digital photograph of the particular type and make of electronic consumer device or its corresponding remote control device. Codeset information associated with the selected device is transmitted to the URC such that the URC is programmed to control the selected device. If the codeset information is a codeset identifier, then it is displayed on the user interface. Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that leverage neural networks for high resolution image segmentation. A computing system can include a processor, a machine-learned image segmentation model comprising a semantic segmentation neural network and an edge refinement neural network, and at least one tangible, non-transitory computer readable medium that stores instructions that cause the processor to perform operations. The operations can include obtaining an image, inputting the image into the semantic segmentation neural network, receiving, as an output of the semantic segmentation neural network, a semantic segmentation mask, inputting at least a portion of the image and at least a portion of the semantic segmentation mask into the edge refinement neural network, and receiving, as an output of the edge refinement neural network, the refined semantic segmentation mask.
