摘要: The present invention is directed to a helmet wearing determination system including a imaging means that is installed in a predetermined position and images a two-wheel vehicle that travels on a road; and a helmet wearing determination means that processes an image imaged by the imaging means, estimates a rider head region corresponding to a head of a person who rides on the two-wheel vehicle that travels on the road, compares image characteristics of the rider head region with image characteristics according to the head at a time when a helmet is worn or/and at a time when a helmet is not worn, and determines whether or not the rider wears the helmet.

摘要: A method for detecting the presence of an emergency vehicle includes receiving a plurality of image frames over a period of time, determining an EV colour component for each image frame based on the ratio of a first colour relative to the total colour in each pixel and assigning to a pixel a first value if the EV colour component exceeds a predefined threshold value and a second value if the EV colour component does not, and determining for an EV colour value for the first colour based on the sum of all of the first values for each image frame. The method also includes generating a time domain representation, converting the time domain representation for the plurality of image frames to a frequency spectrum, and determining if any flashing light sources of the first colour associated with one or more types of emergency vehicles is present.

摘要: A method for tracking and characterizing a plurality of vehicles simultaneously in a traffic control environment, comprising: providing a 3D optical emitter; providing a 3D optical receiver with a wide and deep field of view; driving the 3D optical emitter into emitting short light pulses; receiving a reflection/backscatter of the emitted light, thereby acquiring an individual digital full-waveform LIDAR trace for each detection channel of the 3D optical receiver; using the individual digital full-waveform LIDAR trace and the emitted light waveform, detecting a presence of a plurality of vehicles, a position of at least part of each vehicle and a time at which the position is detected; assigning a unique identifier to each vehicle; repeating the steps of driving, receiving, acquiring and detecting, at a predetermined frequency; tracking and recording an updated position of each vehicle and an updated time at which the updated position is detected.

The two spectrograms from the signal converting circuits have a time/phase difference, and at least one wireless earphone includes a storage unit and a judging circuit that is electrically coupled to the storage unit and the two signal converting circuits. The judging circuit is configured to compare any target spectrogram with basic spectrograms of the storage unit so as to determine which kind of objects the peripheral object is, and is configured to obtain an instant position of the peripheral object by the time/phase difference.
