摘要： A hybrid kite having an integrated compartment that is inflated with a gas which is lighter than air; the kite is further equipped with a wind turbine generator for the purpose of generating electricity at a high altitude, which can be utilized by the kite or be relayed to the ground for practical use. The kite is anchored in the air as a result of an upward pulling/push force (drag) created by wind, and a combination of buoyancy, to keep the generator/s aloft for an extended period of time beyond 24 hours.The kite may also serve the purpose of an antenna, to send and receive wireless communication from a base. Moreover the kite can serve as a surveillance vantage point, when equipped with a camera, video camera, microphone and lights, to give an aerial vantage point of a given location.Numerous other applications for the invention will be realized in conjunction with the primary purpose of providing electricity directly from the generator, which is tethered to the kite, for domestic, industrial & nautical use.

摘要： A vehicular video display system is provided including a vehicle, a video display attached to the vehicle, a source of advertisements unrelated to the operation of the vehicle, a source of one or more images representing the vehicle's operation, and an operational sensor device which detects one or more changes in the operation of the vehicle. In addition, the display system includes a controller which is connected to the advertisements, images and operational sensor. The controller ceases the display of advertisements upon the video display in the event that operational sensor device detects a change in the operation of the vehicle, and causes the video display to display one or more of said images on said video display indicating the change in operation of the vehicle.

摘要： A balloon assembly including a balloon pedestal having a cup attached to a collar and an air tube that can be fixedly attached to a one-way balloon valve. The balloon cup is configured with a plurality of creases that allow it to be folded or otherwise reduced in shape for more economical packaging. The collar and air stem are also oval in shape to further reduce the overall volume of the balloon assembly. The balloon cup can be placed over and secured to the air tube, with the cup supporting the base of the balloon. A rod or similar support can also be placed in the end of the air tube to allow the balloon to be more visible.

In a first preferred embodiment, the lighting arrays includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes that are capable of generating monochrome visible light, thereby providing simple graphics and alphanumeric messages. In a second preferred embodiment, the lighting array includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes are capable of generating colored visible light, thereby providing complex graphics and messages. In a third embodiment, the lighting array includes a plurality of ultraviolet laser diodes that generate graphics and messages on an inner, flourescent-coated surface of the balloon.
